EXC: The Green Party’s membership has dropped by 18,000 since May, internal figures leaked to me show. That’s a drop of 8%, with every 1% loss of members resulting in an annual income loss of £110k, party officials estimate. It means spending adjustments will be required in the 2027 draft budget. A party source blamed the Zionism is Racism motion for ‘undeniably alienating people’. Hw figures opposed to the motion have expressed reluctance to form their own group to counter the influence of Greens 4 Palestine, believing the appearance of factionalism will create further division and put off voters. A Scarred For Life favourite: the final scenes from the last ever episode of THE COLBYS, in which Fallon (Emma Samms) gets picked up by a passing UFO. Now *that's* how to end a series.

And what on Earth does a "professor of public engagement in science" actually do all day? All this bollocks started with things like the Science Media Centre about which I remarked at the time "I was waiting for the punchline which never came" @drdwhitehouse @WKCosmo
Replying to @SharkeyBenjamin
You know what I have just realized That "Professor" part on the cover. That's real... I mean seriously... Not a single serious academic does that. It's pathetic

I am amused by how thoroughly Alice Roberts has trashed her own reputation by publishing this book.

God bless Rae Dawn Chong not least for the greatest sight gag of my youth piped.video/ov1wHKpSVpQ?si=_dgT…
Before Hollywood, I was living in a van in Hawaii and waiting tables at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. One day, the incredible Rae Dawn Chong walked into the restaurant, and naturally, I went up to her table and said, “Hey, you’re a movie star! What are you doing here?” She asked if I could act, and I said, “Fuck yeah, put me in your movie!” She asked for my phone number. The only problem was I didn’t have one. So I gave her my buddy Mike’s number instead. A couple days later, Mike casually mentions, “Oh, by the way, someone called you.” ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MIKE?! I called her back, and sure enough, she was serious. I drove over to pick up the script, went back to Mike’s house, and read all 120 pages three times in a row. First script I’d ever read. My character's name was Devon, and I remember thinking, “Sweet! I could totally play a Devon!” I showed up to the audition with every line and inflection mapped out in pencil. Rae told me I could act and offered me the part. I asked if we were shooting in Hawaii. Nope. Los Angeles. I had about $60 to my name, a bag of clothes, and some rollerblades. Then Rae told me they'd fly me out. And I remember thinking right then and there, my life just changed forever. I'm going to be an actor. That little movie was Cursed Part 3, a low-budget horror comedy that opened the door to Hollywood for me. I'll forever be grateful to Rae for taking a chance on a kid working at a shrimp restaurant. Everybody starts somewhere, and this is where it all began for me.

This line - Arday has been "cleared" of plagiarism - comes from a Byline Times article reporting that Taylor & Francis has decided that no FURTHER corrections are required to a 2020 Arday paper.
This was the white liberal position all along: concede that race “was a factor” but continue to treat Jason as guilty without proof. Now he’s been cleared of plagiarism yet again but this is still the white liberal position because it never had anything to do with proof / truth.
