just got to know gemini-4-carbon is being tested in arena under the name gemini-4-argon so i tested it by generating an svg of a bicycle riding a cow gemini 4 carbon is supposed to be better than argon so what do you think? is this argon or carbon?

opus 5.5 is good but most people are still sleeping on sonnet 5.5, imo sonnet 5.5 on high is as good as opus 5.5 on medium

all of a sudden google started shipping s-tier models instead of flash model every month its only been a week since we got gemini 4 argon and now we're already expected to get gemini 4 carbon in coming weeks with partners already having early access for testing

so finally the legendary opus 5.5 has been nerfed too why would anthropic do this to them when everything is going perfectly well? i believe they’re testing the harness, making new changes to prepare for the upcoming fable 5.5 and this always happens whenever a new big model is about to launch this is the only possible reason behind it or else why would they intentionally nerf a model when they’re already winning?

seems like openai finally have compute as they are giving free credits to everyone who felt their limits were draining too quickly unfortunately this is not for everyone so i'm expecting a separate limit reset for all users landing soon

There were reports of usage draining faster than anticipated for some users over the weekend. We've identified approximately 40,000 accounts that had an inconsistency on which usage limits where the actual usage that was applied did not correspond to their actual selected plan. We are reaching out individually to all these users and have corrected the issue. If this affected you, we'll add credits to your account. Sorry we got this wrong.

just found a great replacement for Vercel for solo founders normally you have to pick servers, set configs, manage env variable with Synteq cloud apps you just have to drag and drop and your app is live, or just push from GitHub i already claimed the free $20 launch credit by commenting on their post which is enough to get started

i'm sad all the leaks of gpt-6.5 turned out to be fake.. if this had actually been true then openai would've had such a good comeback. in fact it could even beat opus 5.5 which everyone of us were asking for and make $500 codex plan worth buying

imagine switching to codex because of free limit resets only to find out your $200 plan's usage has been reduced in half and still no new model better than opus 5.5 has being launched yet

imagine if openai team had no intentions to releasing gpt-6.5 but everyone hyped up gpt-6.5 so much that now they got no option but to release it i can feel the internal stress openai team must be feeling rn

i wasn't expecting gpt-6.5 to drop by the end of 28 day challenge, this alone gives me hope that openai can make a bigger comeback than everyone expected everyone who said they wouldn't switch back to codex is going to have a hard time resisting next month

i was expecting just fable 5.5 and gpt-6.1 astra to be released but now we're getting rumors of opus 5.6, gpt-6.1 terra and gpt-6.5 models i love the competition between anthropic and openai. it's the only reason we're seeing so many new models in a short span of time
