Dubai Manila Bali
Pinned Tweet
I own 11 apartments across Manila, Bali and Dubai. All bought in cash since 2019. 7 years in, my verdict: real estate is a terrible investment, and I'd be richer and calmer if I had clicked "buy" on an index fund once in 2019. Here are the actual numbers, unit by unit.

Thesis makes sense
European poverty will be manifested in older cars, dirtier streets, more closed and boarded up windows, urban decay encroaching ever more on upscale neighborhoods. People will be spending more time at home, drinking and watching streaming services. More defaults on loans will mean half finished, deteriorating buildings everywhere. So basically the currently economically active Europeans will not notice a thing. It's the whole world outside Europe which will be developing, having flying cars, autonomous robots, cheap services and abundance, while Europe will be just like now, but forever. Europe will be Cubafied.

Common sense would tell you that as well😅😅😅
Good Morning from Germany, where one of Europe’s biggest landlords calls the country “uninvestable.” Heimstaden is withholding fresh capital over Berlin’s expropriation plans. It owns 20,000 apartments in the city worth ~€5bn and estimates a potential €1bn loss. Its hybrid bond has plunged from ~98 cents in August to 82.5. The irony: a policy meant to tackle the housing shortage risks driving away investment without building a single new home. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Cucknada is a truly insane place😅😅😅😅
New 30 km/h area speed limit signs will be posted at neighbourhood entry and exit points. Once you enter a signed area, the 30 km/h speed limit applies throughout the local road network until you leave that area. Slower speeds help reduce the risk of serious collisions and make neighbourhood streets safer. Learn more about the change: toronto.ca/LocalSpeed

Not wrong 😅😅😔
I honestly don't get why CT is so enamored with Flood's appearance. There's a lot of ugly people who post analysis, who gives a fuck, as long as it provides some sort of useful insight and perspective. This is simply trading markets and posting sentiment on a public forum. Opinions can differ. Stan Druckenmiller is ugly as fuck, Steve Cohen is ugly as fuck, Tom Lee is ugly, Vitalik is ugly as fuck etc. Even the panel below everyone there is ugly as fuck too but no one has said a word about their appearances. This just seems like pent up anger and hatred towards Flood. This isn't a fucking paegent show you guys are so brutal

The issue really isn't diversity The issue is having good laws, strong enforcement & targetted immigration Dubai is 10x more diverse than any french city & yet you will not see those issues in a 100 years It's all about good governance
I’m Japanese. After seeing Paris, I came to the conclusion that diversity is bullshit.

We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.

Indeed Could But won't

Can say a lot of bad things about Richard Heart but the guy certainly knew how to spend money & boost the economy with the money he extracted from plebs that would've lost it sooner or later one way or another anyways

As a German living abroad it amuses me a lot more than it pains me😆
As a German living abroad and looking at things from outside the German media bubble, it’s tough to watch such a great nation hold itself back like this.

Exactly how I feel about REMILIA milady
If pulsechain and hex does not ever succeed again, I will just leave crypto entirely or fade away from it. I have no interest in moving my bags to bitcoin or ethereum or buying them or anything else unless it somehow shows a direct benefit to pumping pulsechain and hex. So far I have not seen anything with this mechanism that works. It’s this or nothing for me. That’s how it is. Sorry I am not interested in another path in crypto than pulsechain and hex. $pls #pulsechain $hex #hex

Garbage time is rapidly running out; the antediluvian internet will be remembered fondly on the next one. Remilia is building the ark—hang in there.

The stuff people go through in order to avoid taking a flight & relocating to a place where it doesn't matter if you have those things or not😩
if you're a public figure in crypto with 7figs+ net worth you need the following at a MINIMUM (regardless of where u live): 1. video systems at every entry point to your house 2. full alarm system that you set every day/night when you sleep, any trigger should immediately inform an off-site 3rd party firm + the police 3. "panic button" that triggers the above alarm system 4. where legal/feasible, concealed weapons in every room 5. never answer the door unless you are specifically expecting something and know who it is, have an external drop-off system for parcels etc 6. try to live on a busy road/street with lots of cameras/cctv etc. best case is you live in a gated complex with security (many apartment complexes have this inexpensively) 7. if you don't live in a gated complex, then 24/7 security is actually much cheaper/affordable/non-intrusive compared to what you think 8. store significant amounts of your wealth in off-site locations, use multisigs with EOAs stored off-site etc and try to keep minimal amounts on hot wallets most people don't bother to spend the time/money to setup the above, but like i said, if you're a public figure and u haven't bothered to take care of your personal security ur just putting urself at risk...don't leave it too late.
