नाम ही शिखर है, जैसा नाम वैसा ही काम उनका हुआ है। शिखर की तरह ही उन्होंने काम किया है। एक साथ 40 विला लेने की खबर अपने आप में चौंकाने वाली है। इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री जी को खुद को जिम्मेदारी लेनी चाहिए। उनके कार्यकाल को 3 साल होने आए हैं, इन 3 सालों में सबसे बड़ा घोटाला कोई सामने आया है तो यही आया है। मुख्यमंत्री जी की अध्यक्षता में मीटिंग करके छूट दी गई थी। जो आरोप लगे हैं जिसे झूठ साबित नहीं किया जा सकता। जिन पर आरोप लगे हैं वो भी इन्हें झुठला नहीं सकते हैं। कलेक्टर के तौर पर, प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के चेयरमैन के रूप में तथा मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय के एसीएस के तौर पर जो फैसले हुए हैं वो अपने आप में स्पष्ट करते हैं कि जानबूझकर के भ्रष्टाचार की हदें पार करते हुए दिलेरी और साहस के साथ फैसले किए हैं। सोच सकते हैं कि मुख्यमंत्री कार्यालय में और क्या - क्या घोटाले हो रहे होंगे। मुख्यमंत्री को खुद को आगे आना चाहिए। एसीबी को जांच देने से काम नहीं चलेगा, खाली एपीओ करने से काम नहीं चलेगा, सीबीआई या ईडी के सामने केस जाए। दूध का दूध पानी का पानी हो जाएगा। अधिकारी दम्पति विदेश बैठे हुए हैं,उन्हें तत्काल वापस आना चाहिए था। अगर उनका कोई दोष नहीं है, मीडिया में कन्फ्यूजन पैदा हो गया है, उनको चाहिए तुरंत वापस आएं और अपनी स्थिति अविलंब स्पष्ट करें। एक बार खबर आई थी कि ये अधिकारी, आईजी सीएमओ, मुख्यमंत्री जी और उनके परिवार के लोग थे या कौन थे, आपस में छीनाझपटी भी हो गई थी, मुख्यमंत्री के सामने, कोई कहते हैं कि थप्पड़ लगा दिए। पर बहुत बड़ा कांड हुआ था। उसके बाद में आईजी को उदयपुर शिफ्ट किया गया मतलब उनको प्राइज़ पोस्टिंग दी गई कि अपना मुँह बंद रखो। जो काम हमने यहां करवाया आपसे, आपके थ्रू,और ये घटना हुई है मुख्यमंत्री के सामने, उस पर आप अपना मुँह बंद रखोगे इस शर्त के साथ में उनको उदयपुर का आईजी बनाया गया है।

Looking forward to my session at the Doon Cultural and Literary Society on October 31st Dehradun, at the Himalayan Cultural Centre. Meanwhile the annual cultural festival organised by Virasat is also on , visited by some of India's best artists. Will miss my friend Raja Randhir this time.

Lodi Gyari was an exceptionally wise and far sighted man. Completely devoted to HH Dalai Lama, his contribution to furthering the Tibetan cause internationally is immeasurable. Missed by his countless friends within the Tibetan community and outside.
