We want transparency on the MaxPreps rankings, if coaches could calculate the formula on a napkin there’s less backlash. Ohio uses the Harbin system that has two tiers of points, X amount of points for beating a team in X division, then second tier points that you get per win that team you beat accumulates. It’s not perfect, but you can figure your points and position after every game. That’s all the coaches want 🤷🏻‍♂️

AZHSFB officiating has been awful and inconsistent this season. I’ve always taught my players to stay disciplined and not worry about officials, but this year has been frustrating. I’ve contacted AIA multiple times with no response. Coaches are held accountable and expected to improve. Why not officials?

Are officials not being held accountable because there’s a shortage and there’s fear that it will get worse? Multiple times this year we’ve been told “we aren’t calling fouls away from/ doesn’t affect the play” or my favorite, “we aren’t calling holding.” NFHS has these rules outlined for safety and integrity, not for an individual or crews interpretation. Now those same issues have decided big games two weeks in a row in 4k. You send in the plays or appeal and it falls on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Jadon is just an athlete. We were deep at backer and thin at DE so he stepped up to learn the position and he’s been doing great in just a few weeks time, while also learning the defense as a LB and playing WR/TE on offense. He will be a weapon in some capacity at the next level.

Ky is one of the hardest working players I’ve ever coached and you can tell he loves football. Tall, strong 2-way player looking to have a breakout JR season
