Democrats led by Winifred Brinks passed Public Act 233, and signed by Governor Whitmer, that amended the Zoning Enabling Act giving the Michigan Public Service Commission control over siting large projects and took away all local control. Michigan democrats did that. Not John James in the US Congress.

We have Presidents who stay in office for either 4 or 8 yrs. In general, we can survive bad Presidents (we've had several in the last 50 yrs).
But I don't think we can survive corrupt Congressional Reps and Senators who stay in office for 30-40 yrs.
