Remembering Zane on his birthday, in this twelfth agonising year since his death, on what should be his 20th Birthday. When the state withholds the truth of a child's death, there is more than 'justice delayed is justice denied' going on! Withheld justice eviscerates and silences victims beyond the horrific act that took their loved one’s life. Withheld justice removes the power to challenge, to speak freely, and to act on information. It halts lives, destroys relationships, careers, homes, health, wellbeing, trust, and any chance to grieve in truth. Zane will forever be our precious seven-year-old boy, who we miss every moment of the day. But we Pray for a legacy of truth, and that protection for others will come. For those following the Public Office Accountability Bill journey. Monday 12th October 2026 is the first day of "committee stage". This can be viewed from the oublic gallery if you wish to attend in person, or via Parliamemt TV (i have attached the link below). During day 1 of the committee stage in the House of Lords, members begin a detailed, line-by-line examination of the bill. Proposed amendments are published in order in a document called the "marshalled list". Government Whips will draw up a suggested grouping of similar amendments for debate or individual peers can object to these groupings if they want an amendment debated separately. It is scheduled as the last topic of the day, there is no time limit, so it is expected to be a lengthy session.
