The 2026 Myles Hollander Distinguished Lecture, hosted by
@StatisticsFSU, is only one month away! 🤩
This year's speaker is Bin Yu, the Chancellor’s Distinguished Professor in the Departments of Statistics and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at
@UCBerkeley.
The lecture, titled "Veridical Data Science Towards Trustworthy AI," will explore human judgement's role in the data science life cycle. Yu will introduce how three fundamental principles — predictability, computability and stability — can more clearly identify potential uncertainties and risks in AI algorithms.
