Announcement: in a first in NE Ohio, our team @UHhospitals and @CWRUSOM led by Dr. Michael Zacharias implanted the #Cardionomic Pulmonary Neuromodulation System (CPNS) for treatment of acutely decompensated heart failure.
Dr. Zacharias and Advanced HF team @UHhospitals is now IRB approved to launch #Cardionomic Pulmonary Neuromodulation System (CPNS) Pilot Study. Hypothesis: sympathetic nerve stimulation in pulmonary artery induces cardiac contractility. Will this therapy help patients with ADHF?
