Taking UT to the Big Apple for my 18th New York City Marathon! Such a fun experience, especially getting to run alongside people with incredible stories, including a 90-year-old runner named Marty. And, of course, hearing plenty of UT fans cheering along the way with a few “Go Vols!” Always inspiring to see what people are capable of! 🧡

Excited to see 13 companies in the 2026 Spark Advanced Energy Accelerator and ORNL Innovation Crossroads cohorts putting that spirit to work and bringing new technologies to market right here in Tennessee!

At UT Knoxville’s Campus Catalyst, 16 faculty members from 10 colleges came together to explore emerging fields and new ways to turn innovation into opportunity. Every success begins with yes. Today, the Haslam College of Business C-Suite Insights program brought together a great cohort of leaders in Nashville, including many members of our UT team, for a graduation ceremony celebrating their accomplishments!
Leadership means being willing to fail, listening before you lead and investing in great people. At the end of the day, success comes down to having a clear mission and surrounding yourself with people who believe in it.
