This month, @UWRiverFalls Farm and Industry Short Course (FISC) students made the trip down to Madison for the annual UW FISC Ag Forward short course! At Ag Forward, FISC students toured West Madison ARS and learned about corn breeding research for energy production. 🌽

The National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology visited UW and were joined by Senator Tammy Baldwin and CALS professor Timothy Donohue for a discussion on biotech in WI. Several CALS undergrad and graduate students presented research posters.

Congratulations to @Animal_DairySci first-year student Braeden Bechel on earning 1st place in the National 4-H Dairy Judging Contest Individual Honors during this year’s World Dairy Expo! He claimed 1st with 715 points, 15 more points than 2nd place. 🥇
