Our interns from the University of Ilesa (UniIlesha), took AI awareness and education to the classroom through an engaging sensitization exercise focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Literacy. Under the theme “Know It, Use It, Grow With It,” the initiative aimed to introduce learners to the world of AI, promote a better understanding of how artificial intelligence works, and encourage its responsible and productive use in everyday life.

Yesterday, our interns from the University Of Ilesa (UniIlesa) embarked on a sensitization exercise to educate members of the public on the impacts of mining activities on water supply, mining chemicals, and public health. Together, we can build a more informed community where environmental sustainability and public health go hand in hand.

Mining may bring economic benefits, but at what cost to our health and environment? From polluted water and contaminated soil to air pollution and the destruction of our natural habitats, the consequences can be devastating. It’s time to raise awareness, demand responsible mining, and protect our communities and future generations.
