🌪️TORNADO TOUCHES DOWN IN NEW MEXICO‼️🌪️ Near Deming, NM, on Monday evening, torrential rain and golf-ball-sized hail flooded the streets, with winds reaching up to 70 mph. Following the storm, the New Mexico Department of Transportation reported NM Highway 9 closed in both directions over a 12-mile stretch near Animas. The DOT also reported that water over-topped NM Highway 80 and downed power lines, leaving the roadway impassable in either direction. Please stay safe and weather-aware!🚨
