When Bolsonaro was disgracefully invited as Chief Guest for our Republic Day Parade in 2020, several of us in Mumbai held a protest at Churchgate Station against an abandonment of “Indian values” by a government that turned a blind eye to his environmental destruction, his homophobia, his deep links to organised crime.
“Aarey, Amazon, queer ladhai, Modi-Bolsonaro bhai bhai” was the slogan coined at that protest. Today, as the son of one far-right bigot bites the dust in Brazil, much to the relief of so many who were terrorised under his father’s last regime, there is hope reignited for change across the world.

Saurabh Kirpal name was recommended for the Delhi High Court in 2017, The Centre allegedly objected to his sexuality(Gay).
Then His name again reiterated in 2023 by a collegium that included Justice Kaul himself.
But Government blocks it, Collegium accepts it.
Currently, He remains a senior advocate practicing at Delhi High Court and Supreme court.
