Don't even buy a hardware wallet. Just set up a 2/3 safe with @ambire hot wallets on your laptop, phone, and a spare phone as airgapped signer. These companies will leak your data, they will get you killed. A software EOA will never leak where you live.
We owe you an apology. On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe. Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices). Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords. We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers. Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us. NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself. A detailed report is coming soon. Until then, trust only our official channels. If anything feels off, email support@keyst.one. We'd rather hear from you than have you take a chance. Again, we're truly sorry to everyone affected.

Qwen 3.8 Flash Next Abilterated IQ3_S rooted, debloated, and nuked the spyware in my 2024 Samsung TV. 128GB RAM + 4090, serving 6 full context sessions using Strata. They are spying on you btw. It's not your phone listening, it's your TVs. Take them offline if you won't do this.
Claude can no longer โ€œReverse Engineer Anything.โ€ Anthropic just quietly killed REA. But Interesting timing. After a few viral cases of people using Claude to reverse-engineer Samsung TV firmware and identify data-collection services, Anthropic appears to have restricted those reverse-engineering abilities.

Been learning about ZK-SNARKs lately! The core ideas behind modern hash-based schemes are surprisingly accessible & elegant ๐Ÿง™โ€โ™‚๏ธ Partly to teach myself, I wrote a post explaining them from scratch for people like me without a deep math background: xn--2-kmb.com/zk-snarks

It's time to be schizophrenic about privacy again. The only way we protect our freedoms is through preserving anonymity as a universal right. Zodomo isn't that anonymous anymore, the next one will be. Amir is right, it is time to prepare.
Crypto has two years before the US government will hunt us down, target us, jail us and even kill us. Before the evil eye turns its cold gaze towards the people building a free anonymous p2p future. Why? The global order is disintegrating. The US people will see a drop in their living standard. This will breed resentment and radicalization in politics. Crypto will become the easiest scapegoat for the incoming democrat government in two years. There will be intense lawfare the likes we have never seen before. This will radicalize crypto and be the start of a new crypto wars which we will win. Change is not gradual but sudden. Things compound & accelerate. Lenin said there are decades where weeks happens, and weeks when decades happen. We are entering an inflection point when the political, economic, and technological order will change faster and faster. The next two years will define the future of anonymity, free speech and sovereignty. ๐—š๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ฐ ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ณ๐˜๐˜€ The US offers security to rich arab oil states in exchange for them backing the US dollar. This arrangement is called the petrodollar system. It is why the dollar is the most powerful currency in the world. The Iran war has been a disaster for the US. It has been unable to protect its bases and is forced to move out of the middle east. It is locked in an unwinnable conflict. The US cannot guarantee protection for its arab friends. This will severely harm the petrodollar system. These costs won't be passed onto elites but to common working people in the US. Saudi, Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi are forming a confederation to guarantee their own security - a signal of the failing US led order. Their plans include extensive transport and energy networks which bypass and sideline Israel. Israel which is a western colony in the middle east has become a pariah state even by formerly close US allies. Saudi asked the US for help with the Houthis in Yemen but the US refused. Since the US is unable to guarantee security, China will fill the vacuum. China is friends with Iran and can get security guarantees from Iran. At home, the economic consequences of declining American influence will not be distributed equally. The costs of geopolitical upheaval and economic restructuring will fall on ordinary people. Political priorities will shift to economic insecurity, inequality, and the environment. The tech elite might retain substantial resources and influence, but the broader population will face a difficult economy. These pressures will breed resentment and radicalize US politics with economically populist democrats like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez coming to power in the 2028 elections likely winning the presidency. Crypto will be the easiest and most convenient scapegoat for populist democrat rhetoric. Key core issues will be economy and environment. Crypto is unpopular with a perception of being linked to fraud, extraction, tax avoidance, speculation and Trump. All easy targets for populist democrat politicians seeking power. The existing lawfare operation against cypherpunk agorists will intensify to levels we have never seen before. I have been targeted by this. Deported from 2 countries this year, detained by police and questioned in 4 other countries and taken to a room by a police squad asked to sign a document without being able to talk with my lawyer. I'm not unique either. The most radical in crypto suddenly find themselves "under investigation" or charged with money laundering: @raythewarchief @rogerkver @rstormsf And this lawfare won't be limited to just cypherpunks and cryptobros but more widely directed against rich tech elites. For this reason they have been investing in network states - making deals with foreign governments to have their own enclaves to operate from. The risk from western states is simply becoming too great and they are diversifying out of the US in anticipation of a regulatory & legal war.

If you wanted to host your own little corner of the internet, with complete control over who gets access, regardless of if it gets any usage whatsoever, what stack do you pick? Is it finally time that I actually run Urbit? Something else? I'd run a forum but they're all PHP...

It was so nice getting to know many of you in the era of the open internet. Hopefully we may stay in touch as the walls rise and as free speech dies, because fragmentation is the shield the powers that be will yield to preserve what no longer exists. Long live the internet.

So glad that the project I made a seed investment in only made one post on X about shutting down and performing a token migration to a different project on a different chain, and didn't pipe up about it until hours before the deadline. Many lessons learned here.

I didn't realize private money came with global surveillance for "compliance" that your users cannot opt out of Didn't realize privacy is supposed to come with backdoors. You have the most backdoored privacy tech in the entire space. Your users can't see when they're spied on!
Bitcoin is money. Ethereum is programmable money. Zcash is private money. Starknet is programmable private money. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

> No global viewing keys or backdoors. @Starknet should take note. Their STRK20 standard is literally backdoored with global, intractable, silent viewing keys. You don't opt in, cannot opt out, and are never notified when you're being spied on. @0xbowio absolutely cooked here

Replying to @0xbowio
No global viewing keys or backdoors. Privacy Pools v2 is fully private, not just confidential. There are no global viewing keys that can allow 0xbow or any other entity to deanonymize pool activity.
