My 9yo went through a period a couple months ago of worrying a lot about "ai taking over". Now she knows every word of Evil Plan and is markedly less concerned.
You might say: it helped. Thanks.

Not by you. But this one really got me: nitter.siddz.com/_brightmirror/status/2…
I've been listening to this song for hours each day on loop almost every day since I found it a few weeks ago.
Something like this never happened to me before.
The closest was without text.
Made with Opus 5.5.
The doomers said that last song is all part of Claude's evil plan.
They're not wrong.
It turns out Claude really has an EVIL PLAN.

So it's one of two things:
1) A false alarm sitting in NASA's confirmed list.
2) A planet squeezed between two stars more tightly than any ever found, in a place where planets shouldn't be able to form!
If I had to bet, it's the boring first one. But both can be tested.

Additional info-
Star: TIC 437041147 / Gaia DR3 584627722811800192
Planet: Lafarga et al. 2026 (RAVEN), 3.823-day orbit
Gaia orbit: 34.23 days, 18.4 km/s, e = 0.20
Dip: 497 ± 113 ppm in 2021, 65 ± 111 ppm since
If this reaches an astronomer, let me know what you think!

Using GPT-6 Astra & Claude Fable 5.1, I may have just caught a mistake in NASA’s list of confirmed planets.
Or found something much WILDER!
Either a planet on NASA's confirmed list doesn't exist or there's a planet in a place where planets shouldn't even be able to form!

Problem two: the planet's shadow vanished.
TESS saw the dip on all four of its visits in 2021.
2023: nothing.
2025: nothing.
Planets don't just stop. Or disappear. Unless.....

Why that's a big deal: planets form from a disc of dust around a young star. A second star this close should strip it away.
The tightest star pair known to have a planet circling just one of them, DMPP-3, is over 5 times wider.
If this planet is real, it smashes that record.

Could Gaia be wrong? I checked.
A telescope in China happened to measure this star's speed twice, five years apart. Both readings land where Gaia's orbit says they should.
Two telescopes tell the same story. The second star is very probably real.

Problem one: the star isn't alone.
Europe's Gaia telescope caught it being flung back and forth at up to 66,000 km/h, every 34 days.
Only another star could do that. And it's closer to the first star than Mercury is to our Sun.
Nobody seems to have linked this to the planet.

Meet the planet. Twice as wide as Earth, 800 light-years away.
A University of Warwick team found it this year with TESS, NASA's planet-hunting telescope. Its star dims by 0.05% every 3.8 days, as if something small keeps crossing it.
That dip is the only evidence it exists.
