why do jam bands foster such intense, dedicated audiences? people who follow King Gizzard and bands like Phish seem about as fanatical as K-pop stans and I NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE SECRET IS

do you know how to play barre chords?
no, but I know kindness. i know friendship. i know love. i know how to see the world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wildflower. i know how to hold Infinity in the palm of my hand, and eternity in an hour.
