authenticated state all the things (QMDB is now <15% overhead over raw disk access 👀)
Replying to @AviDessauer
We achieve this by running a virtual userspace block device on top of a custom highly optimized interactive merkle proving protocol built on a fork of @commonwarexyz’s excellent QMDB library. Every single read and write is verified inside of the TEE before the kernel sees it.

It appears these intermediary certificates were issued with single-byte P-384 private keys. This means anyone can exploit this issue locally and issue valid certificates under them with no effort. This is very, very bad! Seems undetected since issuance in 2025?
private keys from 8 intermediate CA certs have been compromised (eMudhra) Happy "Update everything" day to all my pager-carrying friends emudhra.we-have-a-problem.co…

For high performance blockchains, indexing and querying data quickly becomes the bottleneck. It doesn’t matter if your chain runs at 1M TPS if your data can only be ingested at 100K TPS Excited for this launch from @commonwarexyz! @exowarexyz is an important solution to this
At Frontiers this morning, we launched our first two @exowarexyz products: log + store Stream and index a stupid amount of data in realtime (~20-40ms cross-AZ durability at 5M keys/sec) for cheap 💸

Introducing Magnetar from Microsoft Research, the first zkVM that is: (1) general-purpose (RV64), (2) post-quantum from standard hashes alone (no curves, no lattices, no Poseidon), and (3) built for recursion. Despite its conservative security, it is the fastest zkVM: 7.2–8.7 MHz on a laptop, 10–39× faster than existing zkVMs across 15 workloads! An optimized version reaches 9.5–12.8 MHz. i dont worry about PQ safety in Tempo - we are prepared on the consensus side w Pat and team’s work and on execution side configurable accounts enable us to do in place key rotations / disable the non PQ keys

And no, no fork required (just alternative implementations of pluggable primitives) 🧱
