Nitro v2.13.5 maintenance release is out 🚀
27 fixes for Vercel, Cloudflare, Bun, Node and Deno, faster dev error sourcemaps, and Node 24 support for more presets.
Since September, we have been unable to publish because every URL under `PUT registry.npmjs.org/@trpc/` is being blocked by a @npmjs@Cloudflare WAF. You can even prove it locally, they've just wholesale blocked our npm scope.
Support have not yet done anything to help.
New from Vercel Labs: tsc-ts
TypeScript was written in TypeScript
Then rewritten in Go
We ported it back to TypeScript
Compiled it with scriptc
And it's 2-4x faster than tsgo
Since last ViteConf, @_pi0_ has spent his time on @nitrojsdev v3: H3 rewritten on web standards, a compiled router, route rules in core.
Wondering what is left before stable? Tune in for his talk "Nitro v3: the road to stable"
@ViteConf 2026, TODAY 2pm UTC. Free and online.
i think something people underestimate is you can get better at vibecoding
like a lot better
there's probably as much a range as between day 1 of programming to day 10,000
Did you know that the install size for packages with native dependencies (vite, rolldown, sharp, ...) varies by platform?
upm web now lets you resolve packages with different platform presets to preview their install size.
`isolated-function` runs untrusted JavaScript in a sandbox. Some nice upgrades just landed:
→ sandboxed code can call functions you choose to expose
→ dependencies install via upm by @_pi0_
→ a helper to wrap any step and get high-resolution timing
Repeat builds are now 40x faster: 119ms → 3ms ⚡
My dev systems are back in my homelab. Latency from Japan to NL is ~260ms*
Now is BEST time to improve my workspace client (pspace) for high latency.
==> First: supporting per message deflate in h3/crossws!
(* theorical light speed is ~60ms i can't imagine how many network hops are between!!!)
