I've finally played Wanpaku Graffiti, the Kid Dracula-esque parody of the Splatterhouse franchise
This is the 8-bit entry in the series, and it plays somewhat differently from the core series. It's less of a brawler and more of an action-platformer

What's a random one-off game or a dormant series that you'd love to see get another chance?
For me, The Order 1886 comes to mind. I'd also love to see a new Boktai or a proper 3D platformer Tomba game
Ape Escape is another pick, but it sounds like we're actually getting that 🤯

Imagine if in that scene where Sebulba gives Shade his old podracer, he actually gifts him Anakin's podracer
I imagine Sebulba explaining that the last human that beat him was some kid that disappeared and he ended up buying the podracer as like a remembrance of being bested

I reviewed Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti and gave it a "Maybe" score, which loosely translates to a 3/5 on Opencritic

It's a small thing, but I love when a video game stage is set during a snowy night and you get the snowfall coming down with the twinkling stars in the background 👌
Picked up Berserk Boy last night to play on Steam Deck. I had been eyeballing this one for a while
So far I'm really impressed. The developer is clearly inspired by Mega Man X with this one. It's a solid spiritual successor
Nice looking, vibrant graphics. Solid gameplay too!

It's also unprecedented how uninterested I am in the next generation of game consoles
PlayStation 6’s memory costs alone exceed $680 per console, it’s claimed, potentially suggesting an unprecedented price tag for the next-gen machine.

We have Steam platinums already. I affectionately refer to them as the "County Fair Prize Pig Ribbon"
See here's where I pigged Elden Ring, and now the new symbol on the right. It lost its aura.
Steam is finally getting its own version of Platinum achievements
The new achievement system beta adds:
• DLC no longer ruins your 100% completion
• A badge for fully completed games
• New achievement sorting filters

My oldest son has become a Snorlax fan recently, so this cup is his favorite
We picked up those new Pokemon cups from Target. There's Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Arcanine and Snorlax
They have this really cute, 90s pop art style to them that I really like
Unfortunately, my favorite one, Arcanine, got annihilated in the dishwasher 😭
