Bill and I started Unruggable two and a half years ago and this year has been the hardest but most rewarding & life changing year of my life. @colosseum has been a huge part of that and provided us with opportunities we never thought were possible. Hardware is hard, especially when you're making it yourself. A single millimetre can affect everything. It’s somehow the best and worst kind of problem to have, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Unruggable isn't just hardware. This year we've levelled up and I'm really excited to start sharing what we've been working on very soon! Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way, it doesn't go unnoticed.

Bill and I have put everything into Unruggable this year. New hardware, software, firmware, a new office, new investors, new branding, partnerships, website and scaled assembly in-house with new robotic arms! We've developed both the hardware & software ourselves and all of this comes down to us just wanting to build a product people genuinely want to use everyday that solves a genuine problem. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our journey and we're excited to show you what we've been building for Solana!
A new era for Unruggable. This year we’ve focused on developing our software, hardware and scaling production in-house. Excited to show you what we’ve built for Solana.

Proof of hand-assembly
Seems like it's a good thing i was adamant on doing everything in-house for @unruggable_io . No shipping partners, no outsourced customer support or dev work, and most importantly just me and @adamdotsol assembling every device by hand.

Completed our first prototype bulk order of the new model for @unruggable_io Always grateful to get such positive feedback like this @bill_papas_12 and I flew from the UK to the US to assemble and ship the wallets ourselves on an insanely tight turnaround Managed to them out ahead of schedule despite losing a day when Bill got held up by TSA with 250+ circuit boards in his luggage TSA can't stop us shipping!

Bill and I spent a lot of this year hand-assembling every single @unruggable_io hardware device ourselves. This time we’ve got some help 👀
Over the past month, we completely switched to frontier LLMs to control a robot in a customer deployment. By doing this, we have a classic System 1/System 2 architecture, but on steroids. For the high-level reasoning layer, we use an agent based on Opus and Astra, which are many generations more capable than any VLA. For the fast execution layer, we use computer vision code written by the model, which is fast, editable, and reliable. As a bonus, we got in-context learning, which is just a basic feature of LLMs, and continual learning, since whenever a new situation arises, the large model steps in and adapts the pipeline. And it just feels better to be on the right side of the Bitter Lesson, benefiting from the billions being invested in frontier models around the world.

Got the keys to the first ever @unruggable_io office last month! The last 2.5 years have been a mix of working remotely, building in @bill_papas_12's basement and spending time at the @Colosseum offices in the US. Now we finally have a place of our own to build from every day! Robotic arms, 3d printers, desks and full assembly station. Here's a concept design of what we're working towards!

Had a great time in at @colosseum’s HQ in SF! Met some great founders building on @solana for the Colosseum hackathon and got to help out with feedback on some really cool products. Also assembled 200+ prototypes of our new model for @unruggable_io for a bulk order & angels (update on what we've been working on this year coming soon!). Good luck to everyone making the final push, you got this. See you in the arena! 🏟️

Such a delicate work by @unruggable_io team. I was finally able to receive the v1 wallets and thus filmed the unpacking. (idk why things take so long to ship to Korea 🤖) Shout out to @adamdotsol and @bill_papas_12 for their handmade work, done with real care to details. Idk how many pieces were shipped, but feel I have sth unique, since v1 wallets won’t be produced anymore.

looked into the @avici exploit on chain, thanks to @Helius rpc for the usage. Wishing the team the best - genuinely can't imagine anything worse as a founder. - 2,973 collateral accounts were drained. - Direct losses: - 825,769 USDC - 292,827 USDT - $1,118,597 total - Attack sequence: - SubmitSignatures: 10,728 calls - AddCollateralAdmin: 3,500 calls - WithdrawCollateralAsset: 7,124 calls - A representative withdrawal is this transaction (orbmarkets.io/tx/3JtqFrUKsyx…). The attacker submitted valid Ed25519 signatures from existing admins, added FVNF… as a collateral admin, then withdrew the collateral. Possibilities are: 1. Smart contract exploit - a signature replay/message-binding bug—signatures were verified but not securely bound to the exact collateral, action and one-time nonce. 2. Infra exploit - an off-chain signing API or key service was compromised and produced fresh valid signatures. The attacker converted funds through Jupiter and placed three deBridge orders: - Order 1 (dln-api.debridge.finance/api…) - Order 2 (dln-api.debridge.finance/api…) - Order 3 (dln-api.debridge.finance/api…) All are already ClaimedUnlock. About $1.113M USDC was bridged toward Ethereum. Primary Ethereum consolidation address: 0x2ce21e4921d3eb116526c3651dac0257657338d5 It deposited 455.1 ETH into Tornado Cash across 15 transactions—4×100 ETH, 5×10 ETH, 5×1 ETH and 1×0.1 ETH. The full transactions and commitments are visible on its Blockscout history (eth.blockscout.com/address/0…).

We at @unruggable_io voted yes despite disinflation not helping small validators but it gets the network to the end state needed. Stake with companies and people who care about @solana
It’s no surprise that @everstake_pool, @krakenfx, @Figment_io and @Ledger with captive stakers vote for short term interest and abuse their position to vote against reducing $SOL inflation. They didn’t participate and wouldn’t participate in the discussions because it’s not defensible. SGP-002 won’t pass for the same reason SIMD-228 didn’t pass.

Thank you to the @unruggable_io team for my first truly solana native hardware wallets! It’s soo shiny! 🤩✨ Massive thanks to the team for shipping this out to me. Is there a better ecosystem or hardware wallet?

San Francisco is far from dead and still has one of the highest concentrations of developer talent and ambitious builders. The excitement from our events last week proved one thing: SF wants more Solana. Appreciate everyone who came to Demo Night, and the teams that presented: @unruggable_io @Vishwa_lab @flovia402 @clawpumptech @BlockRunAI
San Francisco's dead. All the real builders have moved to Miami or Austin. So we probably shouldn't host a demo night in SF with free food and drinks for builders in AI, agentic payments and stablecoins. Because no one would show up. Right? luma.com/solana-demo-night

The biggest thing I learned yesterday at @SolanaEvents demo day in San Francisco, is that this little guy is going to COMPLETELY change the ledger game. . .
