You can’t buy culture. This is #Arsenal Football Club back where it belongs. Look what it means.

No one was complaining about #Arsenal's playing style when we played Chelsea off the park, dismantled City, created chance after chance in Naples, or produced liquid football against Lille. The complaints only come from the hardfought wins we used to lose.

Noni Madueke’s game is simplified on the left, but his relentlessness in 1v1s, his capacity to create separation and his stronger foot are maximised. He has grabbed opportunities, but this was the first time he grabbed a game and became a match winner for #Arsenal in the league.

#Arsenal have gone to Villa, Sunderland and Forest, and won with clean sheets. Last season we dropped points on all three, and have struggled for years on two. These are the wins that get you the points to win and retain titles; entertainment is secondary.

#Arsenal haven’t scored at the City Ground for three seasons, we haven’t won there for three seasons, and it took a huge Ezri Konsa block in the last minute to see it out. From his handling of Delap to his coolness on the ball, he was one of our few bright lights. Superb signing.

“He give him no choice.” We said you’d never seen decisions like the Rice and Trossard ones again, and with each passing season, the integrity of the officials who made those sendings offs becomes more and more questionable.

Eberechi Eze needs rhythm, but also tough love to generate the fight and fire. He has off the charts, game breaking talent, and Mikel Arteta’s demands can unlock that on a consistent basis; #Arsenal need this attacking magic and he can do it consistently.

Myles Lewis-Skelly’s versatility will see him play a lot of minutes; his ability to play left back allows #Arsenal to play Ødegaard, Bruno and Eze, and fill the pitch with passing technicians, whilst giving Rice box to box freedom. £100m Hale End magic.

#Arsenal were vilified for beating Pep’s City 5-1. Never forget the nonsense we had to listen to, all because Myles Lewis-Skelly had the balls to stand up to Erling Haaland.

“A victory for football.” Nice to see Pep Guardiola have a front row seat to watch the nation state who destroyed French football demolish the nation state who cheated the Premier League for a decade. Europes most soulless fixture.

Myles Lewis-Skelly was quietly excellent last night. He created the most chances on the pitch (3), made seven passes into final third, five line breaking passes and seven recoveries. From channel defending to on ball authority, he showed what a unique profile #Arsenal have.

Never underestimate the importance of confidence, and never write off quality players in October. Eberechi Eze grew into the game, and after his goal he looked like a different animal and could have had another. #Arsenal need his technicality in attack; this is a match winner.

Noni Madueke is the one true touchline winger in our squad, and the more isolated he is against his man, the more he’ll thrive. His head won’t drop if he loses it, he will continuously attack his man and drive #Arsenal into the box. Huge LW potential.

Man City once again have one of the best squads in Europe, but never forget the fact they were given their guilty verdict in the summer, and were able to sign Ezno Fernandes, Bouaddi, Allan and Ndiaye for a combined €350m in the last week of the window. Disgraceful.

In the last month, City have had an offside goal given against United, an Elliot Anderson handball not given against Sunderland, Gravenberch sent off for two soft yellows against Liverpool, and they’ve been found guilty of industrial scale cheating. The Premier League is a farce.

Riccardo Calafiori is an absurd talent, who is taking responsibility in attack. He has already matched last season’s G/A output, and with his technical quality, ball striking ability and timing to arrive powerfully in the box, he could be a Gabriel style goal getter for #Arsenal.

Bruno Guimarães took an embarrassing #Arsenal performance, grabbed the game, made us instantly more vertical, and scored his second winner in three games. This was the definition of a responsibility taking display from one of the world’s most clutch central midfielders. Leader.

With Tzolis out for a few weeks, Eberechi Eze has a clear run to grab a shirt. He won us 12 crucial points last season, and was brilliant when on form, but it’s about consistent application. He has qualities no other #Arsenal player has, and this is his moment to show them.

Before Mikel Arteta, #Arsenal would never have signed a player like Declan Rice; it’s fitting that an agreement on his new deal is announced the day the manager signed his. This extension is without doubt, one of the most important the club has ever made.

Details matter, and not only was this the first report that Mikel Arteta was set to renew, it was the first mention that Enrique Riquleme tried to bring Mikel Arteta to Real Madrid. The depth of the intel in these updates should never be taken for granted; every word has purpose.
• Mikel Arteta is set to renew his contract with Arsenal and spearhead the title defence of The English Champions. The club approached our Basque native earlier this year, and it was agreed Mikel wanted to focus on delivering us major silverware & to earn his position within the home of the champions. Total accountability. My understanding is that Enrique Riquleme explored a secret plot to bring Arteta to Madrid if he had won his presidential election. Mikel is currently on 'holiday', yet actively involved in our transfer operations. While everyone at the club are behaving like it’s a done deal, the club hope to finalise the inner details of the most important contract at the club. Minimum 3 years - the wheels are firmly on. Viva La Mikel. • Andrea Berta's current contract runs until 2028. As I understand it, senior officials from Saudi explored a possibility of luring the Italian to the Middle East, while Bayern also covertly did the same thing. Andrea promised Mikel last summer he would deliver him a squad worthy of major silverware… mission completed, with the UCL now in their sights. Another thing I wanted to mention is Micheli Maurizio, the man responsible for scouting Hamšík, Kvaratskhelia, Kim Min-Jae and now Christos Tzolis. While Arsenal aim to add atleast 2 attackers, do not underestimate the authority and respect this man has within the club and wider football. Two weeks ago, I was speaking to the representatives of a player who told me Micheli was the one holding court without the presence of Berta. This duo act are conducting business seamlessly, as you can see with the revamp of the Arsenal youth set up, for which I am told the club have ring fenced a special transfer budget. • The contract of Declan Rice is also a major focus for Arsenal this summer, with initial talks starting early this year. As I understand it, Declan is very happy at Arsenal despite interest from the likes of Real Madrid and others. Talks are going smoothly and expect this to get done in due course. • Jurrien Timber's contract is very close to completion. Minor details remain. • David Raya has a 1 year optional extension on his current contract, which has 2 years left. All parties are very relaxed about his long term future, as a pay rise was agreed last summer. As for all the rumours circulating, as of today, Arsenal are yet to make direct contact with ANY club for a MIDFIELDER. I am happy to provide a 'state of play' post on the midfielder situation if that would be helpful? HandofArsenal roundtable.io/sports/soccer/…
