Even @Apple is rationing AI compute budgets for its own engineers because enterprise API costs are too high. The Web2 centralized compute model does not scale. Margins are getting crushed. The solution? Open-source, private, permissionless, decentralized marketplaces. $AKT is built exactly for this enterprise margin squeeze. @akashnet @akashnetAI
NEW: Apple is cutting employee AI spending budgets even as it pushes workers to use the technology more. Engineers have seen daily limits cut from $300 to $200, with further reductions to $100 planned. Other teams could see limits fall to $25. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

About to post the same thought. @akashnet stands to provide a lot of value connecting isolated islands of compute. RIP data centers, long live $AKT. The benefits & margins of AI will hit local communities where we can start to build up positive vibes from the ground up.
The future is small-module data centers empowering local communities, powered by renewables. Hyperscalers (on earth) are coming to an end.

I’ve never really used $SOL before this. Where should new-coming $AKT holders go to get a taste of the scene? Where are the community TG and discord haunts? Let’s connect.
Prop 346 has passed. Akash is coming to Solana. Same mission, bigger stage: a cloud that belongs to everyone, now inside the most active DePIN ecosystem in crypto. Thank you to the community for deciding our next chapter together. More on the migration timeline soon.

If true, would be a huge opportunity again for @akashnet as a marketplace to help companies offload. I haven’t seen anything like this yet talking to datacenters. But if you’re selling compute commitments for fractions or if you have underutilized nodes to share - let’s talk!
Whoever signed compute commitments is going to have a rough one, the amount of providers asking if we need compute for training has exponentially jumped the past few weeks. At a fraction of the price that is being advertised. Clearly there is a capacity surge.

You want double, triple servings of that sweet sweet subsidized compute? Access denied. You’re cut off and now you have to pay very high price for intelligence. They think they’ve got you, but you still have choices. 👀 @akashnetAI

Maybe it’s just OpenAI… but it’s not.
fuck me... Anthropic really did nerf the $200 claude plan

The $AKT Core Team doesn't rest with these UI / UX upgrades to the managed Console product. Clearly aimed at enterprise use cases, @akashnet is gearing up for their launch on $SOL.
Using Akash Console with other people used to mean sharing one login. No more. Organizations are live for everyone. Invite teammates by email, and group deployments into projects behind one app or service. Akash Console, built for teams running real workloads.

Everyone’s selling AI employees right now. So we built our own. A computer in the cloud that keeps coding when your laptop’s closed. One click to deploy on @akashnet. Here’s the setup... What’s inside - Claude Code - Codex - OpenCode - Gemini CLI All these AI's come preinstalled. Plus most of what you need to start building. All you need is an Akash Console account with a bit of credit. About $15 a month. If you want to deploy Open the repo and click Deploy on Akash. Console fills everything in then Hit Deploy. First boot takes a minute. Type claude, log in, tell it what to build. Disconnect and it keeps going. Put it online Anything on port 3000 is live at your deployment URL. Anything else: share 4821 gives it a public link. That’s it. Your AI agents in one cloud box. Repo in the replies.

Akash was built on one belief: the cloud should belong to everyone. The Akash core team believes our next chapter is on Solana, where the DePIN movement thrives. This is your network, so you decide. Vote on Prop 346: mintscan.io/akash/proposals/… Why Solana: akash.network/blog/why-we-se…

It's really no surprise that AkashML is seeing increases in demand for their token factory running on @akashnet GPUs. The $AKT marketplace is consistently cooking up new upgrades and tweaks. Good. I think we may even be early. The compute frontier is still an open race!
AkashML now averages 26M requests a week, double the 13M it averaged from mid-July to early August. 260M requests in three months, served on Akash GPUs. As open models close in on the frontier and agents take on more work, demand keeps climbing.

Fresh looks.
Deploying on Akash should feel simple. Console now looks the part with an incredible UI update. Redesigned pages, clearer layout, easier to manage your deployments from start to finish. Here’s a quick tour.

AkashML just landed a new distribution channel for their token output. Launched today, Liquid Inference is giving the first 500 signups $20 of credits, which I am betting will go a LONG way because it already does on AkashML. inference.ai.exchange/sign-u…

My original thesis for @akashnet is coming alive. Here, agents don't have to sign up with a human to purchase compute. Access is open and permissionless - which allows for some real radical concepts like @kairence_ai to self-sustain itself without @kex_pet's credit card.
Akash is great, @kairence_ai sovereign agents rent their own computers on Akash. one thing I wish Akash improved: make it easier to transfer USDC from EVM chains.

This is the promise of crypto x AI right? Machines will love @akashnet, the only truly permission-less cloud marketplace fit to serve. 🦾💪

Compute is the new oil. @akashnet is the internet of compute. The future demand for compute is near infinite because the demand for intelligence is near infinite. Akash is permissionless access to compute which will become the most valuable resource on earth. There are a lot of “GPU rental” plays out there but they’re mostly like enterprise blockchains back in the day. Heavily permissioned and centralized. Akash would be like Ethereum or Bitcoin, permissionless and open. It’s like the internet, but for compute. Undervalued.
This is my thesis: no one uses AI. I repeat, absolutely no one. We live in a bubble. Even among my friends who pay for it, when I ask them to open ChatGPT and show me their queries, it’s the same handful of basic things. Most don’t even know they can upload a photo and ask questions about it. Connecting Gmail so an agent can read and send emails blows their minds. An agent opening a browser and checking them into a flight? They’ve never even heard of it. The massive challenge right now is adoption, and then getting people who already signed up to actually use what they’re paying for. Most have absolutely zero clue what’s possible. Imagine the compute shortage when everyone starts using AI like the top 1% of users do today.

This was built overnight as a side project no more than 48hrs after OAI’s Dots launch. Now available at 1/10th of the cost running on OpenRouter, possibly being served by AkashML. Chat is tokens back and forth. These agents will burn tokens quick, and now, more affordably.
We are launching Open Dots, run the same capabilities in 1/10th of the cost OpenAI shipped Dot yesterday for Pro users. Ours is open source, runs on your Mac and cheaper Here's how it works: - each dot has its own browser that stays logged in securely - it can use and setup triggers on your Gmail, Calendar and 1,500 other apps - you can call it and give it things to do while you talk - dots can coordinate and schedule reminders built with @composio @OpenRouter free and open source: github.com/composio-communit…
