AI is getting better faster than we can update our priors. Self driving is functionally here, but most people still are anchoring on their Tesla experience from two years ago. My parents got one recently and their experience maps to this- a game changer, maybe a world changer
The Tesla Model 3 with FSD is mind-blowing. Jessica and I drove to the gym without touching the controls once. It backed out of our driveway, drove there, and backed into a parking space. It's amazing that you can buy so much future for $40k.

It will always be weird to me that people who benefited so much professionally and financially from Silicon Valley publicly shit on it so much. Criticism is healthy, but so is gratitude. 🙏

Can we all just pause for a sec and reflect on how fucking important Tailscale is, and how nobody ever talks about them? I don't think I've ever seen a more useful service with a more invisible corporate footprint.

Incredibly exciting results from @liamfedus and the talented team @periodiclabs who are building at the very edge of what's possible and pushing the frontier. We really are living in an age of miracles
We built high-throughput materials labs in Menlo Park to create a loop between experiments and models. The labs generate fresh data, the models learn from it, and then help us decide what to try next. Using only 1,300 H200s, plus months of our experimental data, we mid-trained and RL’d an open-source model to surpass GPT-6 Astra on our analysis benchmark. We call it Neon. This is real footage from our lab. We’re focusing first on hard problems in materials science, including superconductors, magnets, and semiconductor materials. Read our blog posts below.

It's been so much fun building at @cognition, and there's so so much more to be built. The world needs more software! Also, somehow this is now my 4th @Accel company!
The world needs far more software than it can build. Cognition exists to change that. We’ve just raised over $2B at a $48B valuation, led by a16z, Accel, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, and Avenir. Since our round in May, run-rate revenue has grown from $492 M to almost $900 M.

To me @forus represents the very best of what AI will unlock when wielded by the best entrepreneurs. Medicine and how it gets in the hands of patients who need it will be fundamentally changed for the better if @sahirjaggi and team are successful in their mission
We’re announcing that Forus has raised a $150M Series C at a $3B valuation to build the AI network for medicine. Medicine will remain one of the world’s most important industries until humanity achieves immortality, and we are only at the beginning of a new era in what it can do. GLP-1s are changing obesity and cardiometabolic disease. Gene therapies can treat diseases at their genetic source. New cancer treatments are turning diagnoses that were once fatal into diseases people can live with. AI is enabling us to discover of new drugs even faster. But discovery is only the beginning. It still takes more than a decade and billions of dollars to turn a new molecule into an approved medicine, and once it reaches market, more than a third of patients prescribed specialty treatments never receive their first dose. Forus is creating the AI network to accelerate the entire medicine pipeline, from development and launch through prescription and treatment. We connect the companies creating medicines with the doctors who prescribe them and the patients who need them. Today, Forus supports millions of people across all 50 states and is already used by providers to treat patients in 85% of U.S. residential ZIP codes. 9 of the top 15 global biopharma companies work with us, alongside many fast-growing biotechs. Our goal is to put Forus in every doctor’s office in the country and unlock an order of magnitude more medicine for society. There is a generational opportunity to rethink how new medicine reaches people. Forus is becoming how medicine moves from discovery to treatment in America, and as we scale, we’ll become the most important company in life sciences. Forus is not constrained by capital or customer demand; we are constrained by the talent and capacity of our team. To take on the opportunity in front of us, we need exceptional engineers and operators in New York who want to move fast and help us make something that matters. Come build with us. Our Series C was led by Bain Capital Ventures, with Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel investing alongside them.

Calling it now, @Tailscale will be one of the most important parts of the agentic tech stack. Once a non-tech workflow is embedded into existing applications, it's a wrap.
Tailscale without Tailscale, by Tailscale. Meet tailcat. tailcat is an open-source Go package and CLI that lets you use Tailscale’s data plane without the control plane. No accounts, logins, admins, or IPs to manage. Learn more → buff.ly/MBqj8sF

Sam Altman @sama just ordered 7 ultra-rare custom Swiss watches from Vanguart, fully branded with the OpenAI logo on the dial. One for him, six for his inner circle. Inscribed on the back of each watch is ‘if AGI.aligned: deploy()’ which was written in the programming language Python.VANGUART This is starting to be a trend in the tech world and I’m all for it — If your company wants customer branded Rolex or other watches shoot me a dm we specialize in bulk corporate orders with custom engraving and dial branding

⚡️Exo: Harnesses should see their own code and logs piped.video/5lFD-34dhqE When a new metaharness emerges from friends of the show @martin_casado and @ankrgyl, we pay attention! We round out the trifecta with Alex, who indulges with a deep dive on the exo philosophy and architecture, starting from his well received breakdown of @OpenClaw and why a systems approach to metaharnesses demands a more rigorous analysis.

Today we are announcing a $35M Series A led by @dragonflyvc, and shipping three products. Sapiom Router lowers what you pay per model call. Sapiom Agent Studio takes you from idea to a working agent. Sapiom Runtime is where they run in production. Most agents never make it out of the demo. These ones are running.
Replying to @sapiom
@sapiom just raised a $35 million Series A from @dragonflyvc , @Accel , @AnthropicAI and others to help unlock the next trillion agents. The first thing we’re tackling is cost. To make that happen, we are launching three new products today at Sapiom.ai

I’m honored to announce @thekaizenlabs $15m contract with the @DeptOfWar to build, power, and operate the new c-UAS Marketplace. This is a foundational win for our team, and marks our fifth Federal partnership in less than six months. More to come on that later :). Our team designed, built, and deployed the platform from a blank slate in 9 weeks. The marketplace stack is based on two Kaizen products: Taproot, our library of compliance-engineered building blocks for public institutions, and Blacksmith, our AI harness that allows us to rapidly configure these modules for any mission-critical use case. We started Kaizen to modernize the broken, disconnected application layer systems across our Country's most critical institutions, and I'm so proud of our team for executing brilliantly against this national security priority. Importantly, I'm grateful for the vision of JIATF-401, Secretary Driscoll, and the @USArmy for placing such emphasis on speed, quality, and security.

Day 1 of lecturing Intro CS @AddisCoder in Addis Ababa. 150 kids, and 36 TAs. 7 hours of class a day!! Goal for the week: take them from zero coding (7% haven’t used computers before) through all core Python (loops, funcs, mutability), for them to start recursion next week.

Personal update, I started a company earlier this year with @rolandtshen! It’s been an amazing ride at @tryramp, joining as a founding member of the Workflows team when we were still in a WeWork, to seeing the company grow to $44B, 75,000 customers, and a team of 2000. Grateful for the lifelong friendships and for all the lessons I’ll take forward from seeing a generational company built on the inside: the bias towards constantly shipping, building an incredibly talent-dense team, and always scaling your ambition. We’re tackling one of the largest verticals out there and are already helping early partners rebuild operational workflows in an AI-native way. Our team today is ex-founders and staff engineers. We’re growing and looking for folks that thrive in an environment that optimizes for velocity. If this sounds exciting to you or a friend, please reach out!
