I don't really like standard phone mocks, so I've been building something a bit more realistic. Been playing with this for a while now jumping between client work and this whenever I have time. Still a lot to figure out, but it's been fun. Not sure when I'll make this available. Low quality preview, just testing.

Giving someone a design task before hiring is so stupid, imo. That’s what portfolios are for. If the portfolio doesn’t show enough, move on to the next designer. And the $100 offer is almost insulting. I’ve always hated design tasks and would never ask someone to do one.

Random study. Research is a big part of how we work at Modo. We make time to explore, experiment, and push ideas beyond client projects, even when they have nothing to do with brand or product design. Some of those learnings eventually find their way back into the work we do.
