A very nice model for optimising tasks not only for cost, but speed too 🔥
Meet Prism, a specialized 8B model trained to route coding tasks to the right model in real time. Prism chooses fast cost-efficient models for the easy stuff and bigger, smarter models for the hard stuff. We're seeing upwards 45% lower inference costs. Now live on Charm Hyper.

Actually tried jev for model routing and it is good, though not perfect. Wonder if they will make it better.

that's the same slop. Use Zen (zen-browser.app/) Not only based on Firefox (which is 99% better) but just doesn't have "AI assistant"
Best alternative to arc so far. aside.com

So sad to see Arc turn into slop. I used it until AI became too much in Arc, and now it is being sunsetted in favor of "AI browser"?

Have a feeling GitHub is going down today 🙂

A programmer is just a biological machine that turns coffee into code.

got banned by @discord for absolutely no reason. "spam" even though I dmed a person who I've had previous conversations with. My account was suspended 2 times, and I couldn't message for ~an hour. Only use Discord for work.

Might be quite useful in Glow (github.com/charmbracelet/glo…). 👀
Pele is so good I ported it to pure Go, so tuios can draw Mermaid right in the terminal. Same SVG byte for byte on every test diagram I've ported so far, about 2x faster than the JS, and no node. Kitty graphics where your terminal has them, box-drawing text where it doesn't.

Why do programmers confuse Halloween and Christmas? Because Oct 31 == Dec 25

Hot take: a well-designed CLI is a better UX than most web apps. Fast, keyboard-driven, scriptable, and it never shows you a cookie banner. I really enjoy doing everything in the terminal

I think one thing I won't ever be able to write by hand is regex. Too much time has gone trying to learn it.
