I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined. I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top. The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever. My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply. To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had. For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new. If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

I can see a future where basically everything is local and we just send encrypted prompts to share software.
a year ago, i decided that i didn't want to use SaaS products and/or be dependent on frontier labs today, i am using my own handrolled version of notion, my own agent wrapper on top of hermes (swapped out to Qwen3.8 27B when my DGX Spark arrives) and my own transcription tool.

3% of “critical” software security bugs, in all of recorded history, have been found in the last month. This is on pace to find another ~100,000 bugs this year alone, adding ~26% more vulnerabilities to the all time total Do you realize how fucking insane that is?

use circles in octra to host private resources, apps, data, etc, there will be nothing to steal, and there is no such concept as exit nodes
🛑 Attackers hijacked over 300 Tor exit relays to intercept SSH connections and steal login passwords. A researcher found 333 exits redirecting SSH traffic to 12 interception servers. The Tor Project has since blocked the affected relays. Here's how the attack worked: thehackernews.com/2026/10/at…

i'm sure you're all better than me at this but just some of what we've seen if it helps - they're not going to stop. it's going to get increasingly sophisticated and they're going to go after every surface of your system and all of your employees any old projects you've long forgotten about will be found and used against you the only reason we're surviving is because we have agents going 24/7. we're still barely sleeping good luck, sorry you're dealing with this, but really it's a collective problem we're all facing together

Effective Immediately, all organizations using PHP for their systems are advised to be prepared for an update addressing two critical vulnerabilities. PHP is widely used for web applications. These vulnerabilities often provide a direct path to the server's file system or database. If an immediate update is not feasible, it is recommend that organizations take the system offline until it can be fully mitigated. NSA will follow up shortly with more specific guidance.

iPhone duo is to prep us for the retina id era. The duo will be your second device primary screen. Glasses will always know who you are so no need for Face ID.

+97 ms versus the public Hyperliquid API. First among all, 98.6% of the time. Hyperliquid. On DoubleZero Edge.
DoubleZero Edge achieved a 98.6% win rate over the last 24 hours, delivering the @HyperliquidX order book first against three commercial feeds and the public API combined. Median lead: +97 ms vs the public API. +43 to +342 ms vs other commercial feeds. Slow is a choice.
