A fantastic goal. I believe Ipswich can stay up - we are so much better & stronger than the team which went down 2 years ago. No disrespect to them but we have rebuilt and we have a manager who’s kept teams up. Gary O’Neil is the perfect replacement for the amazing Kieran McKenna
I didn’t get to watch the game but I gather it was a cracker and I’m happy with a point between two teams I want to do well. I’d love to see both Ipswich Town and Hull City stay up. It would be good for the Premier League too 💙
Adhesion problems (slippery rails) is the reason. The Bridlington trains are stopping but the Sheffield/Scarborough services are running non stop through Cottingham and Beverley.
Worth noting @HullCity fans severe issues on @northernassist services today. Scarborough services are running non-stop between #Hull and #Bridlington (not calling at Cottingham, Beverley, and Driffield and visa versa). It means only one train an hour for Cott, Bev, Driff #hcafc
It’s a ridiculously short flight (too many football teams do this) - I could have worked out a train journey via Peterborough for them… but I spy some VIP passengers flying into Humberside Airport today 💙
Your 5to4 song for tomorrow (Friday) 2-4pm) on @Hulls107FM is for the offshore workers using weight loss jabs to meet helicopter weight rules. Song ideas, please?

Sales of radios increase while the number of local radio presenters and journalists and the amount of local radio programming are reduced. Now is your moment @Ofcom to look at the BBC Local cuts.
As BBC local radio proposes yet more change despite ample budget in decent hands - is the game all over? How has it come to this? Who's responsible? I've tried to pull it together

It’s a busy day for Dad’s Taxis today, with Xander on a refereeing course. I’m having a break in what in train driving parlance would be called a Double Lincoln!
40 years after they played in Hull with The Housemartins, The Proclaimers were back in Hull last night and what a great night it was. I might have had something in my eye during Sunshine on Leith! Amelia Coburn, as support, was very good - lovely voice.
A fine station (big birthday next year then). For me, it’s the gateway to travelling home and there’s always something special about going through Gasworks and Copenhagen Tunnels, knowing you’re on your way home.
#OnThisDay 174 years ago King's Cross station was opened by the Great Northern Railway. The facade of Lewis Cubitt's magnificent pair of trainsheds was gradually hidden over the years before being unmasked in 2012. In 2019 an IC125 and Class 91 DVT flank an arriving Azuma.
ALT Under one of the pair of impressive barrel vaulted roofs at Kings Cross in 2019 three mainstays of the East Coast mainline are visible, a Class 43314 InterCity 125 on the left, a Class 91 Driving Van Trailer (82206) on the right as a then-new Class 800 Azuma arrives in the centre.
