A reminder that most FC Supra du Quebec players are on one year or six month contracts with the exception of Sean Rea, David Choiniere, Aboubacar Sissoko, and Keesean Ferdinand who signed two year contracts. Also, the U21s including Alessandro Biello, Ismael Yeo, and Thomas Lebeuf. The rest all free agents at the end of the season #FCSupra #CanPL

No one deserves this award more than Anna Karpenko. The Montreal Roses FC's goalkeeper had a tremendous jump from her first season to the second and was arguably the team's best player in many games as she allowed Roses FC to keep games within reach. Unfortunately she suffered a season-ending injury at a costly time of the season and wasn't able to celebrate the Roses earning the Supporter's Shield this season. One which she had a lot a big part in. Gabrielle Lambert has done a formidable job in replacing her during the past month, but Karpenko's leadership and riskier playing style was a big part of Roses' success.
