The coup in Caracas was not just a raid. On 3 January 2026, U.S. forces took Maduro out of the capital. Explosions lit up the night. Then he appeared in handcuffs in New York. That same week, Delcy Rodrรญguez was already in place. Months later she was standing next to Trump, smiling, talking oil, mining and โ€œcooperation.โ€ What followed was not a transition. It was a clean-out. The old defence minister was moved aside. The high command was replaced. More than a hundred generals and admirals were retired. Then the assets started to move. That purge was not an accident. A revolution in Venezuela only works if parts of the army join it. They know that. Chรกvez was not a top general when he moved. He was a lieutenant colonel. That is why this story is not finished. The Chavista forces are probably regrouping. The next chapter is not another photo with Washington. It is whether enough men with guns still remember who the country was sold to. Read the full article:โ€จangelogiuliano.substack.com/โ€ฆ

Gerhard Schrรถder, former Chancellor of Germany, speaking at a Weltwoche event: The man who ran Europe's biggest economy for seven years on the war Berlin keeps funding: > given "the historical conflicts that have existed", it will not work > "and perhaps it is not even sensible to try, to make Russia, as it were, the sole loser" > "That will not succeed" > it leads to conditions "within Europe, and one must count Russia as part of it, which are bad for all sides" > "economically and politically, especially also for future generations", there is "the responsibility to oppose this" Russia as part of Europe. Peace as a duty to the next generation. In 2003 Schrรถder said no to the Iraq war with France. Germany was then a power with its own voice. Today Berlin pays for the war, loses its cheap energy and closes its factories. Who decided that ? Be informed. Not entertained.

Viktor Orbรกn, then Prime Minister of Hungary, to Bild in July 2024, days after his trips to Kyiv, Moscow and Beijing: "China has a peace plan. America runs a war policy." What he told the German paper > > "the war is not coming from the sky. The war is a result of decision of definite persons" > Europe, "instead of having our autonomous strategical approach and position, we are simply copying the American position" > "So sorry to say, but Europe has a war policy as well" > "If China, United States, and Europe would like to have a peace, it's far easier for the Ukrainians and the Russians to find a solution" > "how to stop fighting, how to save lives, how to negotiate, and find a durable solution" Brussels rebuked him for the trips. Two years and many more dead later, talk of a negotiated end is everywhere, and Europe still has no plan of its own. Copying Washington is not a strategy. Be informed. Not entertained.

Michael Hudson, economist and author of Super Imperialism, in a talk for the David Graeber Institute: "What the IMF calls stability plans is actually instability, permanent debt dependency plans." His argument > > "That's the whole purpose of austerity" > the rule for poorer countries: "You can't create money to make your economy grow. Only we can do that" > "that's what is trying to be changed right now with the global majority, and that's what de-dollarization is all about" > but "at the BRICS meetings", he noticed, "the only discussion of the IMF was saying, we want more votes in it" > as if to say "we can vote to impose austerity programs on ourselves to impoverish our population" He is not cheering the Global South blindly. He is warning it. A bigger seat at the IMF changes nothing if the rules stay the same. Reform the votes, keep the austerity, and the debt trap simply gets local managers. Be informed. Not entertained.

Zhang Weiwei, professor at Fudan University, to Yusuf Erim at the East-West Forum in Istanbul: "The world has entered the post-American, post-US world and post-Western world." How he gets there > > "from Chinese point of view, we think United States have been making strategic mistakes all the time" > taking Maduro: "I call a tactical victory, but strategic disaster" > the US security report "shows due respect to China and Russia", yet Washington "is ready to bullying all other countries except Israel" > Iran: "a middle power like Iran, if it's determined", can push the US to the point "it cannot do much about it" > "a watershed of United States power going down sharply" > "NATO plus Ukraine cannot defeat Russia. United States cannot defeat Iran", and it "already lost trade war with China, lost tech war" Big powers get respect. Everyone else gets pressure. That is why the rest are hedging. Be informed. Not entertained.

Damascus says an Israeli helicopter landed in Sweida and unloaded weapons and ammunition. A senior Syrian official told the Jerusalem Post that Druze armed groups could attack government forces in the coming days, with Israeli backing. More Israeli recon flights over Sweida and Damascus too. Druze figures there are openly talking about an operation to "retake" villages. Israel calls it protecting the Druze. Break Syria into pieces. Arm one piece. Same playbook.

136 of 140. That's how many cargoes from Russia's Yamal went to Europe in the first half of the year, according to Bessent. Over $8 billion. Washington asked Europe to put secondary tariffs on India and China for buying Russian oil. Europe refused. He says he asked them in the spring. Bessent asks: "So why should the US bear the burden ?" Meanwhile the "Graham bill" gives Trump 60 days to decide what to do about Russia. Belgium, Spain, France, the Netherlands. Lecturing India while buying from Moscow.

So true, Russians understand the European catastrophe too well...
The protests in France, now escalating into full-blown riots, represent a total failure of Macronโ€™s @EmmanuelMacron policies. The President of the Fifth Republic has been far more concerned with Zelensky and the "Anchorage funeral" than with the well-being of his own citizens. Now Franceโ€”the very epicenter of Borrell's "blooming garden"โ€”is imposing curfews, and local authorities have been granted the right to ban public gatherings. French "democracy" is bursting at the seamsโ€”or rather, going up in flames of double standards in almost the most literal sense. The political defeat of the incumbent president is an undeniable fact. Instead of safeguarding national interests, Macron has placed himself at the vanguard of the European "party of war" in support of the neo-Nazi Zelensky. French social benefits, cheap electricity, low gas and petrol prices, and even the countryโ€™s education system have all been thrown into the furnace of the Ukrainian conflict and the de facto confrontation with Russia. Now, this "fiery boomerang" has returned to the streets of Paris, threatening to burn everything to the ground. Pitiful attempts to pin the unrest on "Moscow's hand" stem purely from panic, helplessness, and an inability to admit mistakes in both domestic and foreign policy. The harsh realities of the streets are effectively pushing Macron into a premature "lame duck" status, at the very least.

INDIA and INDONESIA > US putting pressure through Colour revolution attempt. The US is currently trying to destabilise both countries, India too close to Russia and strong on its non-alignment historical stance. Indonesia too close to China and inflexible on its sovereignty. COLOUR REVOLUTION attempts on both countries. And of course, Western media and fake human right NGOs like Amnesty international / Human Rights watch are amplifying the message. Are you paying attention ?

A Kushner-linked resort fight turns into petrol bombs in Tirana It started over a resort project linked to Jared Kushner. A week later police in Tirana are retreating from petrol bombs. Hundreds injured. Before this, "Flamingo" protesters stood in central Tirana some 135 evenings in a row. Rama won't resign. He says protesters crossed a "red line". Put this footage in Belgrade or Tbilisi and the BBC calls it a democratic awakening. In NATO's Albania it's "unrest".

Why for the West it is always competing rather than growing together ? In the West, it is about getting the largest slice of a pie. BRICS is looking at making the whole pie bigger, the slice for everyone will also be bigger. WIN-WIN

Pay freeze through 2030. That's Volkswagen's internal guideline for staff worldwide, per Sรผddeutsche Zeitung. Around 600,000 people, on top of 50,000 more job cuts already planned. Four years without a raise. A Kiel economist puts the real pay cut at 10% or more. IG Metall says the order has applied since early October. Bonuses and benefits are on the list too. About 275,000 of those workers are in Germany. VW calls it speculation and blames competition from China. What nobody in Berlin says: they gave up cheap Russian gas and called it values.

Curfew in Paris. Place de la Rรฉpublique and Les Halles, 11pm to 6am. Gatherings and demonstrations banned. Four northern cities under 8pm curfews. About 2,400 arrests so far, and the interior minister admits police "lost control". State of emergency ? The PM says "we could do so". Do this in Beijing or Moscow and Western media will call it "martial law".

PARIS vs CHONGQING. Paris. One of the most beautiful cities ever built. Now losing its identity. The rich get richer, everyone else gets squeezed. Riots. Burning cars. Police in the streets. You check your phone twice before walking home at night. Chongqing. A city already living in the next century. Skyscrapers on mountains, trains running through buildings. Clean streets. Safe at 2am. Young people out, eating, building, thriving. I've been in China since 1995. I watched Chongqing rise. And I watched Europe tell itself it's still the model. One is living off its past. The other is building its future. Freedom. Democracy. Human rights.

Seven cables. That's how many major undersea cables run under the Strait of Hormuz, and the IRGC just made sure everyone knows it. Spokesman Hossein Mohebbi: "We are reminding the enemy of this so they know." Mohsen Rezaei already priced the region's digital infrastructure: $2 trillion. Hormuz was oil. Then helium. Now the Gulf's internet. Every new US threat, Tehran shows another card.

Philippines > Senate resolution to expel China's ambassador Jing Quan Senate Resolution 739: expel China's ambassador. All over one line from him: "If we want to use force, we may easily win. But no, we'll not use force." Sen. Erwin Tulfo didn't even wait for the vote. He told Jing Quan to pack his bags. Banned from China if he does ? Tulfo says he has no plans to visit China, Hong Kong or Macau anyway. DFA summoned Jing on Monday. Beijing's reply: Manila should "rein in" these politicians. Diplomacy, Manila style. Shout first. Think later.

Colour Revolution India: Separatists Join the Protests Gurpatwant Singh Pannu just confirmed on camera that Sikhs for Justice is funding and backing the CJP protests in India. He called it "fifth generation warfare" to topple Modi's government and hurt the country economically. It's the same network behind those symbolic Khalistan referendums overseas. Indian agencies are already looking into the cash flows, offshore accounts and coordinated social media activity around the protests. The sequence is almost always the same: 1 > A local grievance gets amplified by NGO and diaspora networks 2 > Money and operational support arrive from outside 3 > Western media sells it as a "democratic awakening" 4 > Demands grow from the original issue into a challenge to the government itself We've seen it in in Bangladesh, then Nepal. Movements start with real complaints, get steered by outside players, and deliver very little of what they promised. When these tactics show up in the West, they're called foreign interference or hybrid warfare. In India, they're called spontaneous youth energy. Follow the money and the links, not the story being sold.
