I like to pretend im carefree about football sometimes, but i spent 5 minutes giving every single member of the Roma squad and staff the wanker sign as they sloped off.

Got to be playing Yoro at CB now surely. Invested 60m on potential, finally gets chance of a run, and he is at RB because our RB is at LB. You couldnt write this shit.

Fascinating stat from Jonathan Trott: take England’s top 7 and compare to other test nations and they are number 1 in the world. Take out Root and Brook, and take out the top 2 batsmen from the other nations, and England drop to 7th.

He has a good point here i think that referee's need to think about. It'd hard for them but I think Haaland staying up last year cost City the league, and i dont think Chelsea get the penalty Saturday without the player reaction. Players have to be wily.
🚨 Andoni Iraola on the penalty: “Next time, the managers should tell the players to go to the floor… otherwise they won't call it”. “The fact that you are even asking me if Isak should go to the floor… if he goes to the floor, they call the penalty 100%. It should be like this but it is what it is”.

I want United to appoint a tactician, but the board should intervene on the coaching staff. PL and MUFC experience should support a manager without that experience, along with his own people. It would have helped Amorim massively.
🚨Christopher Vivell is reportedly also pushing for Sebastian Hoeneß to become Manchester United’s next long-term manager. Stuttgart were once a club in crisis, with supporters losing hope, until Hoeneß arrived and completely transformed their fortunes. Manchester United are crying out for that same kind of revival. Could Hoeneß be the man to bring Old Trafford back to life?

I'm glad the summer priority was declaring war on season ticket holders. Fuck off everybody associated with @ManUtd above Michael Carrick.

No they didn’t. They put up £200m of their own money to buy United, the rest of it was debt leveraged against the club. Very VERY important to keep clear they have not invested a SINGLE PENNY into Man Utd.
🎙️The Glazers invested about £200m of their own money in Man Utd but are already £1.5bn up and still own half the club. It’s been a fantastic investment. For them. For United, it’s been a disaster. Feat. the usual gang plus ex-Man Utd exec Tim Williams. pod.fo/e/709e8d

England will need to close the gap with catching to beat Australia. It's huge.

I really dont understand this logic that he is hard done to. All good players encounter a roughing up at some stage.
This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

a spinner bowled 23 overs in the test match yesterday, and the day still finished 7 short. England always the ones most harshly punished with deductions as their batting rarely makes it to the new ball, but it's an issue across the whole of test match cricket.

Student loans were sold to students as "you'll earn more, so it's only fair you pay some of that back towards your education cost" Unless changed, of the five plans students are on - three of the repayment thresholds will now be *below* the minimum wage.
Britain’s new minimum wage: £27,456 a year. Higher-rate income tax kicks in at £50,270. Wage compression the Soviet Union could only have dreamed of.

That's the problem, the fiscal drag and stealth taxation on the 50k. Not the minimum wage.
A ‘high earner’ is now someone who earns 1.8 x Minimum Wage 😂 This country is honestly a joke. We need our taxes lowered substantially.

If you are looking for an idea as to why United dithered in the transfer market this summer, you can see it happening with the manager now. Too many voices and stakeholders.
