Well said and totally agree.
My view: if a single party can cause millions of dollars of losses (which is exactly what would happen if Binance were an L2 and it went down for 24 hours), it's a centralized exchange and is distinctly different from something like Uniswap.

Over the past 7 days, onchain volume in Backpack-issued DJT was equivalent to roughly 14% of its TradFi counterpart’s volume. PTN was around 7% and RACE 6.5%.
These are already material numbers relative to the traditional markets for those stocks.
Clear evidence that onchain trading is already reaching material volumes relative to these stocks’ traditional markets. This is why I’m bullish on @solana × @Backpack × @sunrise building a serious market for tokenized equities.
