My first meme card
There’s a particular kind of hurt in feeling that the world still wants your art, but could do without you.
You spend years learning how to see. Your experiences shape the decisions you make even the small ones nobody notices. Then AI makes those decisions seem reproducible, and you begin to wonder how much space will remain for the person behind the work.
In this room, the machine keeps working. The screen stays lit. The artist no longer needs to move.
I wanted to give that fear a body: the feeling of becoming unnecessary to something you gave so much of yourself to.
