Boulder Canyon is currently closed due to a fatal crash near Mile Marker 35. The closure is in place at Sugarloaf Road (local traffic only) on the east side of the crash and at Barker Dam/Hurricane Hill on the west side. Please use an alternate route and expect delays if you are traveling through Boulder Canyon. The Colorado State Patrol @CSP_News is investigating the crash.

Unbelievable - @tdstelecom just scammed a friend's parents out of hundreds of dollars of service for an elderly couple in Estes Park who discontinued service a year ago. TDS kept billing this couple who no longer even lived in in Estes Park.

Even after assuring them multiple times service had been discontinued, they continued to send bills even with no account present in their system. Then they had the audacity to bill them for equipment that Good Samaritan handles. TDS takes advantage of elderly people.

I have zero tolerance for companies who take advantage of elderly people and have no ethics when it comes to billing practices. They bill for service they aren't even providing. They bill for service even after it has been discontinued. I would avoid them. Shame on them.

Doing other plugin developers' jobs because they won't do them themselves due to apathy in WordPress.org forums responses. Generic "de-activate" plugins responses automatically shift blame to customer rather than being curious about the issue at hand.

Large police presence at the Walmart in Longmont on 119. Anyone know what's happening. I counted about 14 police cars surrounding building and blocking entrances.

A man was executed by Federal agents this weekend, and the government lied about and defended the killing immediately without any investigation. It's hard to process this all and still be motivated to work on a Monday. I feel like it's a day of national mourning.

Is it worth giving up all our Constitutional Rights as US Citizens and residents so the government can meet random quotas for immigration enforcement?

Does @pmproplugin have Pay-Per-Post functionality? It seems like it doesn't. Do I need to set up a different membership levels for every single post? We also have member pricing for these posts. I wonder if WooCommerce Memberships is a better choice?

I have done this all in the past with Restrict Content Pro and Easy Digital Downloads. However, RCP isn't nearly as well maintained or having the same level of active support and development as PMPro. Client currently uses Wishlist Member which is, well, not ideal.

I am thinking due to need for integrations, Woo all the way with TEC is the way to go.

Here are some reflections on the lifetime deal we ran and what we've done since then... Founding Partner Lifetime Deal Why we did it The worst thing a founder can do is sit in a hole and build features without talking to customers. However, it’s impossible to get customers in the first place, if we don’t build lots of features. This meant we had a chicken and egg problem. The Founding Partner Lifetime Deal was the perfect solution as it allowed us to circumnavigate the “customers will buy when we have lots of features” side of the problem by removing the time constraint of a yearly subscription. With the lifetime deal, customers can buy first, and use later once we’ve built everything they need from us. Also, with the lifetime deal, we get some cash upfront and validation that we’re on the right track.
