In Memory of Coach Dawson The loss of a coach like this leaves an emptiness that words can hardly describe. He devoted his life to helping young people become better football players, but his greatest impact reached far beyond the field. He taught them discipline, accountability, perseverance, respect, and how to carry themselves with character they will take with them long after the final whistle. To the players he coached, he was more than a coach. He was a mentor, a steady voice, and someone who believed in them, challenged them, and helped them see what they were capable of becoming.
