I've tried a few apps and so far haven't been as impressed by them as I have been with @FluidVoiceApp. It's local, fast & does a great job no matter what program you're dictating into.
Find me a better dictation app for Windows that doesn't send your Voice to cloud and does better formatting than the cloud models. I'll wait... Comes with State of the Art formatting models tuned for all your GPUs and CPUs Early preview link below. Enjoy! Linux coming very soon ;)

I spent last 6 months developing Dictation-focused models 👀 Fluid Speech mini turns your speech into text. Fluid-mini and Fluid-Pico are tiny monsters that turn the raw text into cloud-level AI polish fully offline. I'm betting you've never tried something this good before for dictation. If you have, go ahead and roast me in the comments. I'll take it like a champ. 😭 Try here: fluidvoice.com/
Apparently you need a cloud subscription to get accurate dictation 🤡 Bullshit. $15/mo · Wispr Flow $15/mo · Willow $8.49/mo · Superwhisper $8/mo · Aqua Voice $0 · FluidVoice Our Fluid-1 models run entirely on your device. Built for both speed and quality. 2,000+ tok/sec on an M5 Max 250+ tok/sec on an M1 Air 8GB 200+ tok/sec on iPhone. Check us out below for Mac, iPhone and Windows! Oh, if someone you know pays $15/month for dictation, send them this. And laugh 😂

I've been using FluidVoice on Windows since it's early release and have been very impressed with the speed & accuracy. I highly recommend giving it a try, whether you've never used dictation before or you use another app.
I'm going to real with y'all for a minute There is not a single dictation app that fully delivers on its promise for Windows. I'm a solo developer trying hard to make AI dictation - actually fun to use and private! Since my MacOS app, and iOS app got a crazy amount of love, I'm sending out an early version for Windows to a select few to shape the final version :) Windows is usually the forgotten child of AI. But not anymore.. Local AI that is ridiculously fast - custom built for Windows If you're on the search for a good dictation app, comment below for access!

Someone Is Impersonating FluidVoice, and we genuinely need your help Today, I'm sad to say that the system is broken. For the past year, we've been building FluidVoice, a free dictation app now used by 50,000+ people across the globe. It helps people with disabilities communicate and people with ADHD stay focused. We kept it free because we believe tools like this shouldn't be locked behind a paywall. We've been building it on our own time, with no pay. We never expected anything in return. We just wanted to make something useful, earn people's trust, and do right by our users. And for months now, a fraudulent website has been impersonating us. Today, it's the SECOND result on Google when someone searches for FluidVoice. They even claim it as "OFFICIAL DOWNLOAD", lol. (Please do not click on it!) The real FluidVoice is only at - altic.dev/fluid - fluidvoice.com We've tried everything we can think of to take it down. But nothing has worked. @Dynadot, the registrar, sends us a canned reply and tells us to go file a legal dispute. @HostGator, the host, wants us to pay $1500 to take legal action? @Cloudflare doesn't respond at all. NOTHING has worked. No one is helping put an end to this. So here we are. We give our work away for free, and now we're being told we have to pay to stop someone from pretending to be us. It's ridiculously easy for shameless opportunists to steal someone's identity, put up a fake website, impersonate something people have poured their heart into building, and get away with it. How is it so easy to impersonate someone, and this hard to stop it? Why does the burden fall on the people being impersonated instead of the people enabling it? Doesn't this feel like it should be illegal? We should be spending our time making FluidVoice better for people who rely on it. Instead, we're spending it fighting people who are pretending to be us. I'm genuinely tired of this. If you believe this is wrong, please repost. I just want this to reach someone who can help us put an end to it. It shouldn't be this hard to protect something you've worked so hard to build. Is there anyone at all who can help?

Introducing Wispr-flow like AI Dictation, BUT using local AI Send messages, Speak ideas into your iPhone, convert your speech to text instantly All done locally, so no cloud involved, giving you unlimited words :) I'm a solo developer trying hard to change the landscape of AI dictation :) 1st round of TestFlight was a SHOUTING success!! Round 2 is open for everyone who missed it Comment below for access↓
I'm going to be real with y'all for a minute, iOS dictation apps only make sense if they're not annoying to use. Clunky. Typos. Slow. Bad keyboard. I'm a solo developer trying hard to make iOS dictation actually fun to use. Since my Mac dictation app got a lot of love on X, I'm sending out a testflight for iOS. Local. Private. Fast. If you're on the search for a good dictation app, comment below for access!

Get the right person in charge and you can fix a country. Australia is on it's way to becoming a basket case economically, this can be reversed.
Argentina’s monthly inflation went from 25.5% in Milei’s first month to 1.7% in August 2026. As expected when government stops printing pesos to cover the deficit. Fiscal surplus first, then prices stop sprinting. The “experts” who called this “austerity theater” now have 33 months of INDEC data to explain away.

We sell thermal coal to keep India’s and China’s power stations running. We sell coking coal to make their steel. We sell uranium to fuel their reactors. At home we get soaring bills, dying baseload, and steel on life support. Paris and Net Zero: too dirty to burn here, fine to export. Nuclear: “unsafe” for us, proven overseas. We have the resources. Stop shipping the advantage away.

Imagine if someone told you to stop talking after 2,000 words a week. That’s basically what dictation apps do, then ask you to pay for the “premium experience.” 🤡 Good dictation should be the standard, not a subscription. Period. It should be fast. It should be smart. It should run fully on your device. And you shouldn’t have to ration your words. That’s the bet behind FluidVoice. SOTA on-device dictation for $0. Today, and forever. Oh did I say we got a new meeting transcription feature too? ;) If you have a MacBook, try the latest beta below. Linux, Windows, iOS coming very soon!

Albo and Labor would like nothing more than to replicate this in Australia. Shutting down anyone who speaks against their narrative.
No country did more to make the case for free speech over the last 300 years than Britain. And yet it has made over 62,000 arrests over the last five years for "communications offences," which have included doing nothing more than watching a TikTok video. It's terrifying just how totalitarian the UK has become.

THE BONDI SHOOTERS HAD: * Three Qurans at their property, with at least one open at an ‘earmarked’ page. * A phone video recorded in front of an ISIS flag reciting a Quran passage in Arabic, and condemning the actions of "Zionists" to justify their targeting of the Hanukkah festival. * Two homemade ISIS flags and an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) in their car. * Four more IED’s that were taken out of the car and thrown at the crowd without detonating. But the Albanese government wants to take ‘excess’ guns off law-abiding gun owners who don’t have the above religious beliefs or ideological motivations 🤡

Constitutional expert Anne Twomey has just pointed out glaring omissions in the Hanson v Faruqi decision. Shockingly, the Federal Court ignored the High Court’s recent stricter approach to interpreting S18C. It made clear that protecting people from mere hurt feelings, offence or social discord is NOT enough. Restrictions on political speech need to be aimed at preventing real material harm. As a lawyer if I’d missed these cases I would be in big trouble. Likewise Twomey is perplexed. She says the judgement is incomplete and needs to go to the High Court!
