Last Friday, a16z launched Cosign, a solution to the exact same problem we are trying to solve: making real connections visible.
Cosign is building the network first and then layering opportunities on top of it. In hindsight, that is the right approach.
What now seems obvious was not obvious to me before. I think that comes down to our origin, starting with the concept of Opportunity Markets.
That path, however, made me look at social networks strictly through the lens of value creation, giving us an edge.
The problem we are solving stays the same, the approach is changing...
