Ben Vander Plas (18-22) @benvanderplas joins the team as the second addition to the squad!
While at Ohio, Ben was a 2021 MAC Champion, earning ALL MAC 1st Team Honors in 2022 and ALL MAC 3rd Team Honors in 2020 and 2021. Ben was also the 2019 MAC Freshman of the Year. He was 1st in the MAC in Total Steals in 2022, and was top 10 in the MAC each year in Defensive Rebounds from 2020 to 2022.
Since Graduation, BVP has been overseas, most recently completing a season with JAMTLAND in Sweden-Ligan. This year Ben averaged 18.7 PPG, 7.5 RPG, and shooting 45.5% from 3!
We are SUPER EXCITED to see Ben wear the GREEN and WHITE again for the 2025 TBT!
