hard to imagine a title winner better for the W than a second year expansion team with a deep, balanced roster, one all star (compared to ATL’s 3) and an exceptional brand/fanbase
can definitely co mplain about how offensively inept they can be, but both teams are like that!

the daniel jones 2025 linsanity run set the colts back years. everything has been worst case scenario
Not sure I've ever seen a team trade its offensive and defensive cornerstones in a SINGLE day. What a wild few hours. I'm not sure people outside Indy truly understand the gravity of all this. Man.

losing a HOF offensive lineman like quenton nelson for a 3 and a 5 is pretty devastating for the colts, but hard to blame them too much given their total lack of leverage/Q's expiring contract/positional value
go be great big Q, he deserves to win
BREAKING: Colts trading guard Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks for a 2027 3rd-round pick and a 2028 5th-round pick.

not sure i've ever seen an in-game finish quite like this one from TJ shorts, after the whistle or not. streetball stuff

away screen to initiate two-man action punishes indy's slow peel switch, cooper flagg pings the ball immediately to morez johnson for the powerful slam. frictionless action
good offenses build in easy buttons for star playmakers
good stuff from dusty may's mavs offense after the free throw, staggered double ball screen after some misdirection with gafford starting in the weak corner + wheel spacing
opens the left side for cooper flagg, who does his thing on the tough lefty finish

if jonathan kuminga is punishing switches with interior passes like these two plays, the wolves will be exceptionally tough to slow.
career low on-ball (8%) and scoring turnover (3.3%) rates for kuminga three games in are encouraging early signals

lamelo ball digs down and deflects a pass for a steal before faking a floater three in transition (?) to feed jaden mcdaniels for the explosive lob finish
showtime timberwolves

finals elimination game at 930 PST is unbelievably pathetic, my god
WNBA Finals Game 6 will be played Thursday at 12:30 p.m. ET at State Farm Arena, per @ramonashelburne.

taken with the required mounds of exhibition salt, the patrick ngongba film vs kansas was sensational. demolished a small jayhawk team inside, hit a pullup 3 out of a ball screen, created tons of shots for others and defended his tail off
an easy top-tier talent

deron rippey jr. vs taylen kinney has been one of my favorite point guard matchups to watch over the year. two athletic, physical and skilled players
rippey wins this rep, picking up TK full court before blocking him at the rim. ridiculous POA talent
great finish from taylen kinney but deron rippey is an absolute maniac for making this rotation, how many shorter point guards are exploding off of two like this?

the colts don’t have a pick to tank for and shane has always disliked richardson (not necessarily unjustified)
why would anyone think daniel jones would get benched unless he gets hurt. it’s not happening this year
#Colts HC Shane Steichen says he has *NOT* considered a QB change.
Why not?
“Because I got a ton of faith in Daniel (Jones). The game plane today was to go in and run the football. Obviously, at the end he had the interception and that happens in football.”
