Early in his App State tenure, Dustin Kerns had his staff list every reason they couldn't win. Then they erased every excuse.
Now, @AppStateMBB has become the Sun Belt's most consistent winner.

A Chris Webber Timeout situation in the same exact city where it happened 33 years ago.
Tulane unbelievably calls a timeout that they did not have. Jackson State takes full advantage, winning 87-85.
An improbable finish to a great battle.

Impressed with South Florida’s ability to get back into this one. Down as many as 19, Bulls had the ball with a chance to send the game into overtime, but DePaul holds on.
Blue Demons looked phenomenal for about 30 minutes before their offense went into a rut.

Garrett Johnson is having himself a *night* shooting the ball for South Florida. 26 pts with eight made threes as USF tries to make this comeback vs DePaul

Vanderbilt absolutely had its way with Wake Forest. Was a closer game than the final score indicates, but the Deacs also never truly threatened.
Tyler Tanner & Ace Glass combined for 33 pts & 17 rebs in the backcourt. Vandy showed well defensively, too. app.basketunderreview.com/?t…

A lot to love on today’s slate!
We get to remind ourselves where truTV is with an intriguing triple-header.
There are a handful of great mid-major matchups to keep an eye on as well.

The best of yesterday!
A 30-piece from Nojus Indrusaitis and a monster double-double from Will Berg lead the way.
Berg’s 26pts and 16rebs were both career highs.
Northern Kentucky freshman Willie Foster is a problem! Through 2 games he has 46 points and 12 rebounds.

Another light slate this evening, but still plenty to look forward to.
Wichita State has a ton of preseason hype in the American, but CSUN is a sneaky tough team to beat.
Queens heads west to Loyola Marymount for what should be one of the better games of the night.

The best of yesterday!
Saliou Niang and Dwayne Brown II each logged double-doubles with the same amount of points and rebounds (shoutout number nerds).
Davis Kern was hoopin’ in the Jackrabbits’ upset of Kansas State.

South Dakota State holds on to beat Kansas State! Wildcats had two separate possessions to tie or take the lead in the closing seconds and came up short each time.
24 points for Davis Kern to lead the Jackrabbits, who hit 10 threes as a team
