How is a bloke running a small British business a “tycoon”? This attitude is everything wrong with Labour’s approach to business.
A multi millionaire property tycoon moaning at paying staff an increased minimum wage. Greed.

Jesus. MPs are now trying regulate football chants.
I’ve written to @premierleague Chief Executive Richard Masters demanding action on poverty chanting following Everton’s game against Chelsea. Everton & Liverpool supporters have endured this class prejudice for years. Mocking families who cannot afford to put food on the table is shameful. Through Fans Supporting Foodbanks, supporters stand together to feed our communities. The Premier League must show the same solidarity & leadership. Hunger doesn’t wear colours. It’s time our game acted like it. #RightToFood #HungerIsAPoliticalChoice

The thing with Founders Relief… First, I don’t understand how heavily incentivising me to sell my British business to the Americans helps Britain or its finances long term. Second, are founders actually motivated by how much capital gains tax they’ll pay? I don’t think so.

#Budget2026 BADR CGT reduced from £1m to £500k! This is over a lifetime so has really been devalued now.

Let me get this straight. Work all your life building a business. Sell that business to a rando - charged at 24%. Try to pass it on to your family - charged at 45%. Genuinely insane telegraph.co.uk/politics/202…

The number of drivers stopping at a repeater traffic light, with no stop line, is becoming epidemic. Then they look at you like everyone else is in the wrong.

It's crazy that there's a tool out there that's become vital to they way I do my job, parent my kids, and make major life decisions; and yet we barely spend more on it than AI
TIL that global spending on alcohol is still larger than AI infrastructure spending this year ($1.7T vs $1.5T)

A lot of things that Britain treats as sacrosanct are actually just Blairite inventions that haven't been around for very long. Ofcom has only existed since 2003. The Supreme Court has only existed since 2009. The OBR has only existed since 2010.

So apparently live streaming an execution is abhorrent, but posting videos of an autistic teenager being mauled to death by a tiger is fair game. What is wrong with this platform!?

Scoop: I have heard from a source familiar with the RAF Fairford story that the US feared a drone a attack similar to Ukraine’s Operation Spiderweb last year which destroyed 10 Russian aircraft. They fear Iran might copy the tactics and that drones might even already be in UK, hence abrupt departure of B1s.

They were surprised to learn that there was no life saving equipment in the… EXECUTION ROOM
There was no medical oxygen or mask in the execution chamber where Tennessee tried and failed to kill convicted murderer Christa Pike, which meant staff had to go and get it when things went wrong, according to a source who witnessed what happened. nbcnews.com/news/us-news/-me…
