Its writeability amazes me too.
Only language where I've written something of decent complexity from scratch, and had it work correctly from the outset.
One of the things that really drew me to Python was its readability.
I remember looking back at some code I had written a year ago and realizing that I could still understand it. This was not the case with Perl,
Python's readability made me want to dive deeper into it.
