A recent story highlighted the minute two college freshmen turned 18, they downloaded Kalshi, & already wagered thousands on it
The trend in college kids sports betting is getting worse
• Student gambling has jumped from 45% to 60%
• 10% of student gamblers showed signs of problem gambling
• 40% of those problem gamblers reported using financial aid money to gamble
It's a brutal trend that just doesn't feel right to passively watch get worse
