Watch me build an accurate understanding of complex systems from scratch ★ Built @explainthisrepo ★ github.com/calchiwo/ExplainT… ★ God thank You

🚢ing →
I'm using a Rubik's Cube to reverse engineer my understanding of complex systems. But solving it isn’t actually the point. The cube is a case study for something I’m obsessed with: understanding complex systems. I'll document the process from complete confusion to seeing the cube as a system. It also connects directly to ExplainThisRepo, a developer tool I’ve been building since the beginning of 2026 to help people understand software repositories, another kind of complex systems. Hi, my name is Caleb Wodi, I'm a 16-year-old pre-university student, STEM builder, and actively teaching myself engineering before I enter university. My goal is to eventually solve the cube in under a minute. But the bigger goal is to become better at understanding complex systems, to become a better engineer and to build better systems that solve complexities. Watch me build an accurate understanding of complex systems.

This was just a brief test as it was already late. Huge improvement on engine power. Don't forget, this prototype is actually big; With an 8ft wingspan and weighing about 60kg, this is no toy⚠️ There's no space in this compound anymore for this project It is now too loud, too fast & too powerful for this place (I don't want my neighbors to make me a topic at the next estate meeting🥲) Also don't forget, every time we do a full test, the engine burns about ₦30k worth of kerosene ⚠️ R&D is no small thing This is the update on our indigenous aerospace project development. Work on the control computer system & further testing continues #Zedora #madeinNigeria 🇳🇬
We did a brief & recorded jet engine taxi test today🔥😏 You will see the improved power of the engine in a few minutes No overheating ✅ It was super loud to the point my neighbor the former deputy governor of the state had to call me to find out what was making the ground shake😂 I had to stop because it's already late and my good & understanding neighbors need to rest Stay tuned.....

I just completed my Smart IV (drip) Monitor project. 💧 This project has been a really interesting combination of embedded systems, signal processing, BLE, and mobile development. The system uses an ESP32 to monitor an IV drip in real time, detect individual drops, calculate the drip rate (DPM), and display the information on a TFT screen. I also built a Flutter mobile app that communicates with the monitor over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), allowing the drip information to be viewed remotely and the counter to be reset from the app. The system also includes audible alerts for important events, including when dripping starts, when the system determines that the IV has finished, and when the counter is reset. One of the biggest lessons from this project was that the algorithm isn't always the limiting factor. The IR sensor itself introduces noise and variability, which means there is a practical limit to how accurate the detection can be with a single sensor. Getting truly reliable measurements would require improving the sensing approach, potentially with multiple IR sensors or a more precise sensing method. For now, though, I'm happy to have taken it from: Sensor → Embedded detection → TFT → BLE telemetry → Flutter app and gotten the entire system working end-to-end. Another hard-tech project completed. 🔧 Another client made happy. #EmbeddedSystems #ESP32 #IoT #BLE #Flutter #Electronics #MedicalTechnology #HardTech #Engineering

You work or you die Going down philosophical rabbit holes is work, whetever the ends produce Partying too counts as work, same for violence and so on. Perhaps you can call them low level or unnecessary work, but still the body and mind is working

study calculus. not because you need to pass an exam. because calculus teaches you how the world changes. • derivatives → how fast something is changing right now • integrals → how tiny changes accumulate into something larger • differential equations → how systems evolve through time • partial derivatives → how one variable changes inside a system with many moving parts • gradients → which direction changes something fastest • optimization → finding the best solution under constraints then connect it to reality. • velocity is the derivative of position. • acceleration is the derivative of velocity. • energy can be accumulated through integration. • control systems are built around changing states. • neural networks learn using gradients. • physics is full of differential equations. don’t memorize calculus as a collection of formulas. draw it. simulate it. derive it. write code for it. connect it to motion and physical systems. calculus becomes beautiful when you stop seeing x and y. and start seeing change.

A small clip from the first test of my AI glasses with a visually impaired person I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me so far. But my dream and vision go far beyond this i want to use technology to make a real difference in people’s lives and help our society I believe this project deserves to reach the world and connect with technology companies and organizations that can support us in taking it to full production

Omg! Guys let's support Khalifa, he's building wonderful things from Nigeria that solves real problems. Going places my friend 🫶
I have launched the actual test of this AI Glass that I built to help blind people and people with visual impairments I started testing it directly on the face of a person with a visual impairment to see how it would work in real life👓 And what amazed me the most is that after the blind person wore the glass, he said that for him, it was amazing Watch the video in English below ⤵️ This project of mine is getting close to where I want it to be And the world wants to see it in action
