Thanks so much @cgeorgiaw for your partnership! We’re already humbled by the number of submissions 🤗🤗🤗 We’ll try to answers questions as best as we can across LinkedIn, X, Synapse, HF … but please try to keep questions in the HF discussion forum so everyone can benefit from the answer — thank you!! huggingface.co/spaces/SageBi…
There is a child with a rare disease who is currently suffering and struggling to manage his symptoms. Rare as this is, you can directly help him. Today we are launching the "Rare Disease, Real Kid" Hackathon, and there are $50,000 in prizes from @AnthropicAI and @awscloud. We (@huggingface & @Sagebio) are helping this child open his genome and clinical data to the community, so that we can find what's caused his disease and what currently-approved drugs could help him. I doubt I need to motivate this much further or explain how rare it is for a family to share their child's genome and clinical data, but if you're not sure, consider this: Until very recently, it wasn't feasible for patients like this to get treatment because their disease was so rare that the economics could never justify the investment. Now, as we've seen, people with rare diseases are starting to be able to find the answers themselves (with the help of AI tools, cheaper sequencing, etc). This kid is not able to do that for himself and neither are his parents, so we're asking you for help. Both for this kid and to prove that it's possible for everyone else suffering from a rare disease. More details in 🧵. sagebio-rare-disease-real-ki…

As many of you know, over the past two years I’ve shifted my research from foundation models and NLP into AI-native chip design. What I’ve found: the problems feel 10x harder than software engineering. Writing functionally correct RTL is only the beginning. As models saturate on benchmarks like CVDP and ChipBench, I keep coming back to one question: how far can AI go toward designing a complete chip on its own? Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Build-A-Chip-Bench, the industry’s first AI benchmark for end-to-end chip design, built by ChipAgents in collaboration with @NVIDIA. It tests whether AI can take a design from specification all the way to verified GDS. The top model scored just 16.6%. Today’s models can produce functionally correct RTL in some cases, but reliably meeting physical requirements remains a major challenge. We still have a long way to go, and that’s what makes this research so exciting to me. Proud of our research team and grateful to our industry partners for helping us give the community an honest measure of where we are and how much work lies ahead.

The next generation of personal AI assistants such as @Meta’s @Muse and Instinct are incredible for shopping, reminders, travel planning… …but my hope is that they may become an unexpected ally for a much bigger purpose: personal health. When we started @evidation in 2012 we knew that our health is our biggest project, and yet now we’re running that project on nights and weekends, usually as an afterthought only when things go awry. The tools for continuously learning & integrating inputs + gently weaving micro-decisions into our every day’s life didn’t exist back then. Now they do. Every personal AI health assistant needs to be at least a great personal AI assistant. I can’t wait to see what can be built on top of this new application layer to the benefit everyone’s heath and wellbeing.

I just tweeted the same exact joke. I arrived at it totally independently though.
hey OpenAI, the rumor is Anthropic has found a cure to cancer... you may want to look into that 😄

Pssst @OpenAI I have a cure for cancer basically ready to go - just need to fix some AI slop in the write up 😉😉😉

LLMs may not be able to jump… but they sure can attend. openreview.net/forum?id=klU4… If lack of abductive reasoning “jump” is truly an inherent limitation of current AI models, crowdsourcing “jump” ideas from humans is the next best thing they may want to do. @TZahavy
We congratulate Levent Alpöge and Tristan Buckmaster on their remarkable mathematical work. We (the researchers and the agents) did not see any of their work through any means until they released it publicly — in particular, no specific user data was accessed in order to solve this problem. While unlikely, we cannot rule out that de-identified data derived from their usage of our products helped improve our models. However, our proofs differ significantly and even the precise results proved are different in the Euler case (forced vs. unforced).

It immediately got me thinking "this should be an open source pipeline every oncologist in the world could use".
The coolest meeting I had this week with was Paul, who used ChatGPT and other LLMs to create an mRNA vaccine protocol to save his dog Rosie. It is amazing story. "The chat bots empowered me as an individual to act with the power of a research institute - planning, education, troubleshooting, compliance, and yes, real scientific design work in converting genomic data to a vaccine prescription and designing the treatment protocol around it. But they worked alongside humans at every step. The combination is what made it possible." It immediately got me thinking "this should be a company". Also, Paul is an extraordinary guy. This should be easy to do, but it is not yet.

2026 will be the year of agents in biology. But we need better benchmarks. We worked with scientists to turn real world analysis into verifiable problems. SpatialBench stratifies frontier models, shows harnesses matter, and reveals distinct failure modes between model families:

To me this is the _current_ AI superpower in science. Not out-reasoning experts after a decade of depth, but reclaiming the breadth that decade inevitably cost.
Replying to @JohSch314
GPT-5 came back with an elegant solution. What struck me: the proof completely bypasses the rich, well-developed theory usually applied to these invariants, instead drawing on techniques from a different corner of algebraic geometry. Sometimes an outsider's perspective helps.

We are up to 688 LoCITT participants! If we could enroll all 1,000 participants within a month of launch (by 11/30), it would send a powerful message about the demand for remote LC clinical trials. We appreciate the community's help to spread the word: longcovid.scripps.edu/locitt…

You can now add @huggingface to @cursor_ai to find models, datasets, papers, apps,... Vibe coding a website is cool but imagine if the new AI powered code editors would turn everyone into an AI builder able to train AI themselves? How cool would that be?

'A science project is akin to the ‘Stone Soup’ folk story: a guide comes into a village with little more than a stone and convinces each villager to contribute something to the emerging soup, thereby benefiting everyone involved' Long open science 👾🧪
This is fundamentally why decentralization and oipen source are key. Creates an evolutionary-like search across organizations, yielding massive brekathroughs when scaleed.
