At @judgeme we use AI to: 1) Build an operating to replace middle management and meetings 2) Go from scale-up to marketplace of ideas, while automating our ops function. Last month I gave a talk with how we think about this. Here's the talk: piped.video/watch?v=7xbM-YuV…

Really starting to worry about Dead Internet Theory. This post got 11 comments of which 9 are AI and 2 are human. What's the point of social media if humans get crowded out by AI slop?
2 months in now for @judgeme email app, a traction update: App store ranking (email marketing category): 12 => 4. Active installs: 1087 => 2167 (+99.4%) Paying customers: 72 => 156 (+116.7%) Saas ARR: ±23K USD => ±44.5K USD. Emails sent: ±3 million per week. App reviews: 18 => 71. App review rating: 4.9/5 => 5.0/5 Use cases launched: About 20 (would need to count, so much has shipped!). Verdict: - Great momentum on support - Product shipping at full speed - Decent month adoption wise BUT: We need to scale up email sending more. Early in the month we had to turn away some larger merchants as our protection systems in place didn't allow to get the sending volume they needed fast enough. We now have a full time developer working on beefing up our spam protection while maxing the speed in warming up lists for real merchants. Product goal: White glove Klaviyo import launched - for any size store - by December 1st.

It's been 1 month now since we announced @judgeme email, so time for a traction update. Without cross-promotion from our Review user base, Email now has 1087 active installs from 68 countries. 4.9 rating with 18 app reviews. 8.1m emails sent in September. Position 14 in app store. 72 stores pay us for the 15 USD / month Awesome plan and the 15 cents/1K email usage charges were a but over 800 USD in September. So that's a bit over 13K + 10K = 23K ARR. A good start for a deliberately slow organic launch!

Holy crap this is real innovation.
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again. Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard. It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min. Pre-orders are now live at: subvocal.co/preorder?utm_sou…

Dutch MP thinks she can simply invite Anthropic to IPO in Amsterdam so they can control and tax them 🤣 Not being able to think through every player's reaction to an incentive structure is a sign of low IQ.

Stop questioning Shopify initiatives, just do them. This holds true for Polaris, BFS, Sidekick, app extensions, metafields, meta-object layer, customer account extensions, etc. DO ALL THE THINGS. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Has anyone seen an increase in installs after integrating with Shopify Sidekick? With App Store installs dropping lately, curious if Sidekick is bringing in any new users. Would love to hear your experience!

Love how @judgeme email app keeps improving every week. This week's releases: subscriber import, pop-up targeting, Shopify images and product display options.

Note: This work is the bottom left (automate) part of our framework for thinking about AI in organisations. My full talk about our AI approach is here: piped.video/watch?v=7xbM-YuV…
Earlier this year, we hired a product lead for the organisation to start automating our organisation. First thing we did is start building an internal Slack chatbot that can handle - automatically - all requests the team has with the ops function of the company. Think questions about payroll, leave days, P&L, etcetera. So the team talks to the chatbot, and the chatbot connects to APIs and MCP servers from the tools we still need. A natural result of that effort is that we move to an organisation that uses less external software tools, or if we do need them, use less of it at lower cost. Happy to report that in the past 8 months, we realized over 770K USD in savings!

With all due respect but people need to learn how to think critically. Let's talk about Built for Shopify. 1) When you operate on a dominant platform like Shopify and they tell you the standards they want you to achieve for being in best standing, you don't question it, you just do it. Any second "considering" Built for Shopify is a second wasted. It's an action fake. But if you really need to have the obvious pointed out to you: Yes, BFS really helps in app store rankings. 2) Obviously the BFS badge on its own can't explain why we jumped ahead of all other email apps, many of which have BFS badge themselves. This should be obvious. It logically has to be true. 3) And for those who will feel the urge to point out Klaviyo doesn't have BFS: Klaviyo has a special deal with Shopify, which expires July 2029 but renews for 1 year automatically. Shopify has 180 days notification period for non-renewal, so that's January 2029. Guess which Email app aims to be the dominant player by January 2029?

.@judgeme Email is now #4 in email marketing category in the app store! We were ranked 12th two weeks ago. Since then the app got Built for Shopify badge and our app reviews rate went way up. Tons of work to do but very encouraging for 7 weeks after launch.

To all Shopify app developers looking to beef up their security right now: Note that Anthropic runs a "Cyber Verification Program" to request access to Mythos for security purposes. The Defense Access tier tends to get approved in minutes. Worth using! portal.anthropic.com/program…
