Los bloqueos de los puertos ucranianos, el ataque sistemático a la generación eléctrica, etc, etc...etc. está dejando la economía ucraniana en números que ya eran muy malos antes de estas oleadas de ataques y ahora son peores. A ver qué dice tía Juliia
Ukraine’s budget has fallen $1.8 billion short in 10 months — three-quarters of that shortfall came in August–October, when Russian strikes intensified and Black Sea ports remained closed. Metallurgy, which once accounted for around 7% of GDP, is now close to zero. Steel production has collapsed, metal exports fell 48% in August, and grain exports through ports have dropped to roughly 30% of normal levels.
In a war of attrition, the economy is the foundation. Without it, you cannot keep paying soldiers, treating the wounded, or supporting civilians for years. For 2027, the financing gap could reach $30–70 billion, depending on defense requirements.
Ukraine is now close to the edge. Resources are thinning, people are exhausted, and the economic base that makes a long war possible is being steadily worn down. At some point there may simply be nothing left for Zelenskyy to fight with — or to govern.
