Jason Wright Over 149.5 Passing Yards
43% Hit Rate This Season 🎯
50❤️ For My CFB Play Of The Day
Wright took over as Buffalo’s starting quarterback this season as a sophomore, and while the record hasn’t always followed, his arm talent has been on display in flashes, including a 309 yard half of work’s worth of production spread across his two best outings this year. He’s cleared this number in 3 of his last 5 and comes in catching a Miami (Ohio) defense that’s given up a ton of yards through the air this season.
On The Season Wright Is Averaging.
-26.4 Passing Attempts Per Game
-13.1 Passing Completions Per Game
-106.5 Passer Rating
-0.6 Interceptions Per Game
Miami (Ohio) ranks 132nd nationally allowing 269.9 passing yards per game, a favorable matchup for the over, and that number isn’t a fluke, the RedHawks defense has already allowed 309 and 453 yards to the two starting quarterbacks it’s faced.
QB Production Vs M-OH.
-JC French 309 Pass Yds
-Mason Heintschel 453 Pass Yds
Buffalo leans run heavy on offense at a 45% pass rate, but that actually works in Wright’s favor here, every drop back carries more weight and the Bulls aren’t afraid to let him push the ball down the field, evidenced by his 34.3 yard average longest completion. A banged up Miami (Ohio) secondary has had trouble all year getting off the field on money downs, and this is exactly the kind of defense a young quarterback can pick apart through the air.
For the over to hit, Wright just needs a clean pocket and his usual rate of completions, and against a RedHawks defense that’s been thoroughly exposed through the air every time it’s taken the field, the volume and big play ability are both there. This is a get right spot for Buffalo’s sophomore passer against one of the worst pass defenses he’ll see all season.
