The most notable thing about this is how the old talking points just don't work anymore. For the first time in decades, they are being openly and effectively contested. And it's not just Ashok or the Greens. Many people have seen through them. That doesn't go back together.

People will look back in history and think Shami Chakrabarti must have had her head in her hands because someone was defending the genocide in Palestine, only to realise it was actually because someone pointed out that the ideology which produced that genocide might be racist.
