Thks @liz_rockett & @chrissyfarr 100% agree- traditl #VC model has driven transformation in so many industries but led HC down a more incremental path to fit 3-7 year hoirzon. We need to innovate the funding model -longer horizons, across dev stages, bringing more than $$$, etc
YES. We are missing out on markets, needs, business models that could create huge value and change — but cannot return in a 3-7 year horizon. @coppedge and @margaretlaws are some of the smartest in the room on this topic. Healthcare innovation NEEDS non-VC funding models.
